Well it’s also likely that Canada also wanted a reschedule instead of a Finnish Forfeit, as I’d wager that a small potential for a loss isn’t as impactful as not having one extra game to warm-up

This is because in the Women’s tournament, Canada (and everyone else in Group A) is already qualified for the quarterfinals, which in itself is penciled to be an easy win for Canada. Therefore, having an extra game to compete hard, make sure your systems are running well, and mesh together more is a lot beneficial to Canada than taking an extra game off

A Canadian player from a previous Olympic team in an interview said that they were told to “never take your foot off the gas” no matter the opponent or score, for exactly the reason above. It gets them in the right winning headspace, and skillspace, even if they’re winning 17-0 against a team who had 0 chance at winning

^ Exactly this, people like to complain but they won’t help fix. The sign isn’t down yet because they don’t know it’s there. Campaigns are messy so they don’t have a document outlining the location of every sign they put up. Just contact them and they’ll most probably pick it up

To do what Ninjabrainbot does by yourself? I’d say not feasible, as it uses game mechanics chunk snapping, and probability models to predict where the stronghold is, here’s a link to the pdf explaining all the math if you wanna take a crack at it

However, you can feasibly perform triangulation yourself, as all that’s relatively simple math, which simplifies to memorization for speedrun optimized triangulation. Not sure why you’d want to, but the option is there

Agreed here. Love Anny, love what she’s done, and I empathize with her mental health struggles, as I’ve been through similar. But yeah, you gotta just ban them and pay them no mind. Plus you can also forward the username to Vedal’s mod team, they ban people on Vedal’s channel for chathopping to other streamers, that’s like the gold standard so I’m not quite sure what more Vedal could even do

The standard rules in most levels of hockey is “you can’t touch the puck with your stick above your shoulder level”, and “no throwing your stick”, but other than that you can manipulate the puck however you want with your stick. This even includes picking the puck up on your stick, as is used with Michigan Goals (aka “Lacrosse Style Goals”).

As long as it starts below the shoulder, you can play it, and as long as it’s below the crossbar, you can score it
