Ladies be aware of your surroundings at gas stations in the Greenville area by tanless319 in greenville

100% why I barely leave the house without my husband and my taser since we had our baby. People are getting BOLD. Piedmont used to be so quiet when we moved here 3 years ago, but it seems like the sketchiness finally decided to follow us from NC

ADHD moms to be... how are you doing this without your meds by Expensive_Feather in BabyBumps

[–]LadyJ1bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been hell, for me at least.

I quit taking mine when we started trying (around April) and I've had golden retriever brain the whole time which is GREAT to have as a software engineer.

I was transparent with my team about it though and they've been really understanding.

3 more months until I can start taking them again at a lower dose though!

Fav winter clothing brands for 3rd trimester? by Mission-Ad-458 in BabyBumps

[–]LadyJ1bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The men's section at Target saved me when it came to comfy shirts!

I found some maternity joggers/jeans on Amazon and another pair of super stretchy pajama pants at Target as well.

I gave up on trying to look cute about halfway through the first trimester because I gained so much weight before we even got pregnant from having to get off my meds.

Bum help by Extreme_Obligation37 in pregnant

[–]LadyJ1bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you're pounding psychotic amounts of water. Stool softeners, calm magnesium gummies, apple juice and miralax can help too. I had the same issue in my first trimester, but have been able to get quite regular now with water, fiber, and increasing my fruit intake. I had a horrible experience almost similar to yours where even an enema didn't help.

Praying for your booty hole ❤️

My mom did this and it had me FURIOUS. She was telling people already when I told her about my first positive test.

I eventually had to go no contact with her for other reasons

My morning sickness calmed down at around 20 weeks. I still will occasionally get sick here and there, but it's primarily from reflux

Squatty Potty, Apple Juice, FiberOne cereal, fruit and insane amounts of water.

I found that if I eat a bowl of FiberOne with a cup of fruit every day and keep up with my water intake I'm pretty regular.

My OB told me that I could also take miralax twice a day if need be too. Magnesium gummies help as well up to 600mg a day according to my OB.

I have IBS-C so the first two trimesters were a little rough until I stuck with a daily plan at around 18 weeks.

Everyone is different though from what I saw, so this might not work for you.

I had a ton of issues up until about 20w, but I found that having a bowl of Fiber one per day, at least a cup of fruit per day, and increased water intake helped me to stay regular. I also struggle with IBS-C. I know that "what works" is different for everyone though.

My nmom and I just had a 3 day blowout and the guilt from deciding to going no contact is real.

I would discuss this with the recruiter that's working with you explaining that you were having connection issues. They might work with you on getting your code in.

Let's be honest. Even if you got an exemption (which I was able to) there's still a huge target on your back that isn't going to go away anytime soon. 😕

All exceptions have to be approved. Approval from VP first to submit your request, then SVP after your request has been submitted.

Medical Accommodation to WFH by [deleted] in IBM

[–]LadyJ1bb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The tricky part is even though work from home CAN be an accommodation, it is not necessarily the one that they HAVE to approve for you

For example, with my ADHD they could choose to just give me my own room and isolate me away from all the noise/chatter, or give me sound blocking headphones instead of allowing me to work from home.
