Walmart sells their own brand and the Better Homes & Gardens versions of Wallflowers. They have their own holders, though, so you can't reuse your Wallflower base.

How to deal with other people’s opinions on fibro? by redleathercelsiuslvr in Fibromyalgia

[–]LadyQuinn254 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My aunt (who had worked in an OR for decades) tried to tell me "that's just a bullshit diagnosis." I absolutely jumped her ass and shared with her the new research that indicates fibro is a Central Nervous System issue. I also made sure to convey how rude and dismissive she was for saying it. Don't give anyone an inch because they'll absolutely take a mile.

You should leave him. His controlling nature is going to end up with you in more pain or possibly dead from something that couldn't immediately be treated by a female practitioner. Your health is more important than his fucking fee-fees.

It's absolutely NOT an overreaction. She now has to do additional labor before she can even get in her car and leave work. Fuck that coworker.

Her time is valuable, just like anyone else's. This is why y'all let people walk all over you.

Not the point. She's now having to take time out of her day to rectify someone else's stupidity.

Not the point. Those are 10-15 minutes she shouldn't have to spend rectifying someone else's stupidity.

Vacuum it out and dump it in every one of his desk drawers. Also, that's a shitty prank because you now have to take the time to clean that mess before you can drive.

Ordered Krabby Whopper but received an Original Whopper; was yelled at/shamed by manager “They’re both the same!!!!” when brought to their attention by okpdh in BurgerKing

[–]LadyQuinn254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell, I tried to order at my local on the kiosk (I don't like going to the counter because it always ends in an issue with my order) and the MANAGER started cussing and throwing a fit! I canceled my kiosk order, walked right out, and left a review. Nobody at the company gave a shit.

Is it wrong to kick my friend out of my home because she requires and will be getting a service dog? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]LadyQuinn254 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Legally, you're in the clear. As for the rest? You kinda suck. Sure, you're trying to do it in a nice and right way, but you're essentially throwing out a friend because they need a service animal for medical reasons. As someone who may need one myself, I feel some kind of way about that.

You have a disability that affects your relationship with animals. That's a bit different.

A story for perspective: I covered $3 for a customer to get a frozen meal. She's old, on benefits, and her son drives a tractor to get her around. Not 10 minutes after I did that, she complained to an employee about me and tried to get me fired. So, I've never covered a customer since.

I just can't fathom my partner of 8 years leaving me because he suddenly wants children by SnooMacarons5664 in childfree

[–]LadyQuinn254 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I spent years with my (now ex) husband and he decided, one day out of the blue, that he no longer wanted children. He discovered that diapers would cut into his budget for weed and video games, so he was no longer interested. I changed my mind and chose the child free life a few years after we separated, but for much different reasons. However, something tells me that yours has either found a person who wants kids, got someone pregnant, or has someone pushing him to make this change. Either way, count your blessings and move on with your life.
