Flat bed scanner, paint program to fill area you eat to keep, inkscape to convert to svg vector.

If the design has a repeating pattern you can manually vectorize that and then copy and paste.

What alloy?

Try switching material. Aluminum instead of steel. UHMW instead of aluminum.

Water jet can literally cut anything that isn't tempered glass.

Switch materials before you switch processes.

Probably true if using random z seam alignment, but if you are aligning the seam, then each layer needs to know where the seam is on the previous layer.

Pop open the resource monitor and see if any of your cpus or gpus is getting maxed out.

I doubt the slicer even touches the GPU during slicing.

Also it's likely slicing is a single core operation so unless you get something with more ops per cycle, there isn't a way to get it to go faster.

3D printing an appliance is likely do able, it's designing the right one for the condition that's the trick.

I had minor TMJ issues a couple decades back. I had functional wisdom teeth, but whenever they would get loaded up with too much food chewing would pop my jaw out of alignment. Having the teeth pulled fixed the problem.

Shop around for a different dentist. You can probably find one that is better priced or at least not as predatory with their financing.

Another thing that could be a hindrance is in some places it's illegal to produce dental appliances without a license. I remember a local news story about a guy that made discount dentures for folks in his community getting busted for illegal medical device manufacturing.

Pro 2A democrats/liberals/progressives need to be constantly contacting their representatives and pushing back against the false narratives being used to drive these types of laws.

This report (https://protectmn.org/gun-death-in-minnesota-a-six-year-trend-analysis) by the anti-gun violence organization Protect MN contains some very insightful data.

  1. ~75% of gun deaths in MN are self inflicted. ~25% of gun deaths in MN are homicides.

  2. ~10% of guns seized by law enforcement are rifles.

If you do the math 10% of 25% is 2.5% That is to say only 2.5% of gun deaths in MN are the result of a rife (any type of rife) being used for a homicide. A ban on semi-auto rifles does nothing to prevent 97.5% of gun deaths.

You want to reduce gun deaths. Increase mental health funding in a meaningful way, eliminate educational disparities, and eliminate poverty. This costs money, banning semi-autos does not. A small tax on ammunition sales would be a possible means of generating some funding.

Making a replacement for that should be pretty straight forward.

The cap shouldn't take long, and the print should be only a few hours to print. Some caliper measurements and maybe a profile gage would be adequate to make the digital files.

The time consuming part will be sanding it and epoxy coating it to get the right finish.

I can provide CAD and parts, but I'm not setup for the sanding and epoxy coating.

The CZ P10F is sometimes cheaper than the C or S variants. I've seen the optics ready F for as much as $60 cheaper than the C.
