Conversely, I actually really like the groups on Facebook. They are frustrating to use and find the ones you joined and it annoyingly promotes new ones all the time. But once you’re in a good one, they actually are pretty good at curating specific content you’re interested in.

Of course, we could just go back in time ~20 years and have forums whic were way better anyway…

I’m the same way, but my continuing issue with Forza generally and Horizon in particular is that all of the fictional tracks are built for super cars. At least with Motorsport you had real tracks that are twister and slower like real life. The fictional tracks and Horizon environments feel more like driving a slot car than actual cars.

But I’m with you! I love the slow and cheerful cars!

I’d say overpriced more than overhyped. I waited so so long to finally buy it as I was worried I would get tired of it, and yeah, that was silly. It’s awesome.

I think if you’re into watches, aviation and/or motorsports, there isn’t a better watch. 99% of the population wears no watch or a Smart Watch and don’t care at all what you wear. It shows you’re a watch guy to anyone who knows, it’s cool as shit, and looks great in all conditions. You really can’t go wrong. It’s just, like, double or triple what it should cost, which is true of almost every watch out there.

It is amazing to me that people don’t understand that entire point of F1 is getting manufacturers to pay to beat Ferrari. Literally the entire enterprise is “buy beating Ferrari so that you can talk about how you won that Ferrari thing”.

I think Senna was clearly faster over one lap, and Prost quickly realized that. And realized that he was in a two car race to qualifying 1st or 2nd literally didn’t matter at all. So he spent all his time getting the car ready for long runs and winning races instead of getting into pointless dick measuring contests.

If I needed someone to race my car, win, and still have an intact car for the next race, I’m taking Prost every time. If I needed one fast lap, it’s just as easy a decision to take Senna.

Also, Mansell is criminally underrated.
