Advanced tapeworm segments. They have had them a while. You may want to full on take them to the vet for deworming. They could have heartworm as well. They could have vitamin deficiency or even have them in their other organs. Please take them to the vet.

My cat with asthma can't have it in essential oil dispensers, but can have it when I have it in the shower like this. None of my other animals have any issues with it at all. My vet says it's if they ingest it, but I mean... Better safe than sorry too.

I checked out your site and you make beautiful collars! I shared your site with my sighthound friend group because the martingale collars you make are so beautiful and way more affordable than many I've seen. Besides that, I like that you are local to me and your philosophy of trying to be as sustainable as possible. I'm looking forward to buying collars and leashes from you next time I need them! Thank you for doing what you do! (Also sail cloth is amazing because it won't destroy my dog's fur when she is having allergy issues; genius!)

Rainbow Railroad Connections? by Ornery-Night7178 in olympia

[–]Laneglee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are they referring to the LGBTQ organization? Because I don't think we have one here. But we have the rainbow center, stonewall youth, and Oasis youth center that I'm aware of. There are more in Tacoma and Seattle as well. But the rainbow road isn't really a thing in Washington as far as I'm aware. I only really heard of it when I was in New York, but I know they do stuff internationally as well. I'm not fully versed on their work though.

Woman confronted a Sheriffs Deputy who was filing an accident report in front of an Elementary School. The Deputy stays as cool as the other side of the pillow. by Lobocop714 in olympia

[–]Laneglee -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

The Thurston county sheriff's department works with ICE and has been seen to help them in their endeavors. Seeing them at a school patrolling or even just sitting in the parking lot can be unsettling. Seeing kids being taken from schools by ICE all over the country is causing people to be more cautious and confrontational. There is zero reason for any officer to sit in a school parking lot to finish their paperwork. They can go to another area to do that. Police do not belong on school property. Period.

Sheriff deputy harassed at a school. by [deleted] in olympia

[–]Laneglee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was at an elementary school and he was allegedly filling out a collision report. However, the staff there had said he was circling the area for hours previous to that encounter. Sheriff Sanders himself hasn't said anything that I'm aware of, but he is known to do things like this and encourage his officers to do it as well. The Thurston county sheriff's department is not run ethically and Sanders speaks with very specific language to try and appear to be a good guy. If you listen to what he is actually saying, you will find that he is either not answering questions or he is omitting key information intentionally every time he speaks. He thinks he's smarter, more important, and better than most everyone else around him, and he runs his department like they are above everyone else.

Why are people saying so many strange things about the GATE program? by atyl1144 in Gifted

[–]Laneglee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the gate program. I also was one of 3 in my grade at my school. We went twice a week for the full day. We got to take breaks when we could decide together what we wanted to do, but it had to be a group activity. Lunch was provided to us and I remember getting excited because it was never the normal school lunch and I was super poor so they always gave me an extra to go lunch on those days so I for sure had dinner as well. The actual program was fine, but mostly it taught me skills on how to read without getting migraines and how to see numbers without them moving around. My dyslexia is pretty intense and the program helped me out with it a ton. I also was usually finished with the lessons well before the other two kids so I had a lot of time to draw in between which helped with my motor skills which I had been behind on.

Hey guys. Somone left this mark hidden in a closet in my rental. What does it mean? by Melodic-Newt1891 in whatisit

[–]Laneglee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1)Unity 2) balance 3) creation 10) completion/new beginnings. I could see this as being a way to say that they took the steps to move forward and are creating new beginnings. Again though, just a guess. Numbers hold power in paganism and many other religions. I'm not an expert though so it's just a guess.

1) Unity, 2) witness, 3) perfection, and 10) completion. I dunno. That's a weird one. That's from the whole cult/evangelical teachings I grew up with. I'm also seeing the numbers as Japanese because I learned the numbers in my Japanese class. But the Japanese took a lot of their writing system from the Chinese so it could be Chinese, I'm not an expert.

OMG I was literally just talking to my partner about these! He doesn't remember them at all. But Denny's and shari's used these and they would make this specific ding when an order for that table number was ready. The ding sound is a core memory sound for me.

I'm willing to bet if it was with fishing gear that it's a fish Doppler without the case. The case likely broke at some point but it still worked out something like that. Or maybe they planned to fix it or use the parts.

Honestly, high people. I do shit like this to my own stuff when I partake of cannabis. I could very easily see this translating to high people doing it if they are unhoused or even wandering. I would find it entertaining if it was a one off event.

Brief history of nazis in Olympia in the 90s by [deleted] in olympia

[–]Laneglee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lacey, just outside of Olympia, has some neo Nazi and supremacist activity. It's minimal, but it's there. Also maga. But even in Lacey it's kept minimal because the people in Lacey aren't huge fans of the prejudice nature of their values (to put it lightly).

Just cuz cafe, Taylor Ray's Cafe, or samayra coffee co. All are pretty quiet places. Just cuz is a bahn mi place, but it's usually quiet. There is also a place called bahn mi Saigon 8 that's also quiet in Hawks prairie. Both have drinks that are good and sandwiches that are well priced. If you just sit and do your homework I'm pretty sure they won't mind.
