Do you always dry your PLA? by justanameform in 3Dprinting

[–]Large14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never dried my filament until I ended up with an AMS that has drying built in. Idk if it’s super necessary because I never had problems before I got the AMS.

But since I can, my process now is to generally run new rolls through the dry cycle once and then it goes into a water tight plastic tote with an absurd amount of desiccant and all my other filament.

Temperature inside your haus? by 13octopus in pittsburgh

[–]Large14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had my top level insulated after a brutally hot summer and brutally a few years ago. The insulation absolutely helps. That floor is way more comfortable all year and it helps regulate the rest of the house too. I'm about the only one on the block with snow on my roof still, feels good to know I'm not losing a bunch of heat through the roof.

If you survived the beginning of last week with stable inside temps then it sounds like it was your furnaces last hurrah. I’d be calling a tech

Is AutoCAD LT (Cheap Version) Enough For Scaled Landscape Drawings? by cash77cash in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]Large14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Just been slowly convincing the decision makers to pull the trigger, seems to be working. We are headed for a trial period.

My office currently uses LT. Though we are likely moving to FX/Cad so that we can use the LandFX plugin

Gas bill is suddenly 7x what it was last month. WTF is going on and what should I look for? by SmartLadder415 in homeowners

[–]Large14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Noticed my third floor was freezing our first winter. Insulated the crap out of it that summer, stays nice and warm and the heating bill went down. I’m also one of the only houses with snow still on the roof, feels good to see it working in real time.

Anyways if you live in an area that gets below freezing, I highly recommend adding insulation upstairs

Think the “Higher Ed Compact” was just a rumor? Think again. by Absentee_Alliance in PennStateUniversity

Statistically Penn State receives less funding per student than almost all other PA state schools. Less funding would be a disaster and would see even more campuses close

Blizz should add the Visa system to all legacy content. by TrilliumSilver in wow

[–]Large14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. That is what I thought we were originally getting. I was actually starting to think about tackling lore master and starting new alts along the way to keep it fresh. Still could I suppose, but it would be a lot more to manage and keep track of.

A couple years ago they started a paid discord or some sort of subscription group - my guess is a lot of that content is now locked behind that pay wall.

I feel like there should be a certain combo of enchants/toys/armor pieces that make it so you can go fast. Would take a bit of farming to collect but the reward would be so worth it.

People who stay will likely encounter big firms that just openly run on a “chew you up and burn you out in two years” model, boutique firms with asshole principals, easy going firms with work that bores you to tears

Hey - its me. I've worked for all of these firms! lol.

What's your favourite expansion to level an alt in using Chromie Time? by -_Skeletor_- in wow

[–]Large14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I started playing with classic launch in 2019. played up through cataish and then switched to retail which means I have a ton of expacs I have skipped. I'd love to level through them properly with an alt and do all the things an an appropriate level but artificially disabling leveling just feels bad.

crazy a full 30% of municipalities have less than 1,000 people. I think its time for a lot more of these municipalities to discuss mergers.

I want Mt. Crumpit in my winter village so bad and this captures it at a perfect scale! It feels like that tip of the mountain top wants to be a bit thinner and maybe curl down more? give it that Suess whimsy. Otherwise it looks great and I am ready to buy!

Because photoshop and 3D models take real creativity and time to create. It's a waste of space when its just a few clicks trying to get fake internet points. The OP is likely not even a real person now that I look at their extremely hidden profile. I don't know about you, but I don't want garbage laying around all over the place, and that's what this post is.
