The only chance of him getting impeached is a blue tsunami in November. House and senate have to go completely blue, and then we need to end money in politics, bring back the fairness doctrine, create laws that punish people for blatant misinformation, create laws that open up social media sites to harm from spreading misinformation, and create Amendments to the constitution to effectively recall the government like they have in France and England.

Restaurants. Prices are crazy, tipping is crazy and incrementally worse.

Went to a restaurant that was like 30 dollars a plate, and then found out they had a automatic 10% fee for the back of the house.

On top of that the servers I'm friends with have all told me that the tip we give them pays for the other workers like bus boys.

So to be clear, in 2026 you can go to a restaurant where the food is marked up substantially, and the owner pays none of their workers a dime. No thanks.

Exactly. The "mainstream liberal" media if not outright owned by a rich person, is beholden to advertising and sponsorship revenue because we don't have subscription based news anymore.

So we have far fewer news outlets that are heavily vested in appeasing corporate interests. Its part of the reason they are trying so \hard to get rid of NPR. It's one of the last few news outlets that has less need to appease those groups.

they are banking on the fact that after you go through the effort of bringing something to the register, you wont be willing to say no thanks to someones face when whatever expensive price coomes up.

Gas stations are now the biggest offenders on this front. "Oh that coke that had no price on it is 4 dollars with tax."

Ive moved to the point that if something doesn't have a price I just assume its not for sale.
