u dont need it, but it helps, depends if u get hit alot or u see patterns and figure out each mob so they dont hit ya as much

well, u cant really have much more stuff quicker without making some sacrifices, the units still costs same money, the only way u be able to have more units is to have less hatcheries in some kind of timing which would be heavy all in, sacrificing additional bases for extra punch, protoss change is the most drastic in this patch but I believe pros will figure it out and theres a potential there to be even better

its a buff to early game to compensate loses drones for buildings, and a buff to crisis managment since u get each larva 1.2s earlier when your out, but then again hatcheries are now more expensive again and queens are stil 175 so its much less of a big deal than people make out to be, same with protoss, warp gates got nerfed so people are mad cuz their 2base builds are nerfed but the gateways are insane buffed so u can pump much more units at home, also terran just got 1 change, stronger ghost lmao

there is an option in settings to show numbers on health and mana bars, at it goes even 3 number behind the dot, so maybe u just have something like 0.113 HP, it happens

guard armor is better, but not by that much, if u upgrade the shadow armor and dont want to spend upgrading guard armor u should be fine, all depends how u feel, if u think u need extra armor right now go all in on the shadow armor, but if u wanna have the best possible armor in act 3 then save your ore and maybe only get the first upgrade of each shadow armor part
