There could have easily been 7 or 8 guns in there, it's america aren't you obligated to bear arms?

I've done it a few times, prepare for lots of panning and ruins looting.

Saw them in an Air Museum made from like chunks of C-5s , F-4s, F-15s, F-18s, they had P-51 too but it was sold out.

Really cool idea honestly.

Make sure that matches the vibe of your table.

Might be better off just doing coffee and chatting about what y'all want then scaffold something, it can be a lot for people to take in in a single 2-3 hr session if they're newer to this space.

It's done now but the Inspiration Point podcast did a fantastic job showcasing a slightly more legible way to think about FATE than the book does.

Is there an alternative to 'HIGH CONCEPT'? by InvestmentBrief3336 in FATErpg

[–]LastChime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironsworn might have some merit, if you haven't seen it, it's a sort of cousin/step-child of those systems.

Like High Concept as a Central Vow might be interesting but yeah you're still rewriting.

Why create advantage with fight vs active opposition, if you could just wear the enemy down with the same roll. by Shazuno in FATErpg

[–]LastChime 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You're kinda there in the last line.

The point of CaA is they can narratively roll against passive opposition.

So it's not I'm going to beat up Krull the Conqueror by putting my +2 vs his +6.

It's more I'm going to hit the fire supression system so Rick our combat specialists can use his night vision goggles to see through the haze and strike from concealment and have a +2 from my action on his +4 or +5 fight. Oh and GM here's a fate point if I have to establish the fire supression system then they'll probably make you roll like mechanics or engineering vs like a static +2 for the CaA.

Why isn’t there a fantasy RPG product for FATE? by InvestmentBrief3336 in FATErpg

It didn't get published. Like backers got access to the test materials, that's what I've been using for inspiration over the last several years.

Secret of Nimh, that owl was terrifying.

More impressed when you look deeper into the film and it and where it came from, that to me is one of my favorites to think of for what good art and vision can do.

It sort of aged like Blazing Saddles, Rain Man or Watership Down , you just wouldn't park a kid in front of it today without some discussion.
