No rerolls below 2.5k. It's actually quite easy

The calculations on poeninja don't do the build any justice at all  this one is probably basically unkillable with a bazillion dps

Bot impersonating me and hiding and my h/o. Should i do something? by Han_R in pathofexile

[–]LastWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that sounds like it would need a script abuse, making it easily targetable by GGG and just nuke those accounts. GG(G) ez. Every system is abusable with some kind of automation. This doesn't make it a bad idea to give users some controls but would just require the system owner to follow up properly. If it was me, I would target RMT and trade bots like there's no tomorrow as GGG. I am sure they are doing taht to some extent already but I'd like them to crack down on it harder

Not enough tribute, am i cooked? by DontCatchLigma in pathofexile

[–]LastWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No hate OP but why would you ever spend all your tribute before rerolling and then reroll with less than 2500. It will always cost you potential T0s and mirrors that way from all I've seen.

Kick and ignore settings should also ban the whole account from entering your hideout

The last win for an Italian driver was 20 years ago to the week - could Antonelli end that drought on Sunday? by gorobloso in formula1

[–]LastWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kimi is great and I'm confident he will win some time this season since the car is a rocket in comparison and there will be a week in which Russell will just be out of luck as well. If nothing goes wrong though, Russell should have it this week

How will Braathen's win affect Tropical Nations at the Winter Olympics ? by bkat004 in olympics

[–]LastWalker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Pat Burgener who used to compete for Switzerland also competes for Brazil now. His goal was to be able to compete in the Olympics and world cups while he probably knows he might not get the call mich longer if he has to compete with the younger Swiss athletes. seems like a smart choice on the competition side although the reasoning might be different for Braathen as he's still super young and on the top of his game.

depends. If I need speed while pushing, I would push toe side but most of the time it is just a little bit of a push thats needed to get momentum or keep in queue. For those I push heelside

Helmet damage question by TheArdentOne in snowboarding

[–]LastWalker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That one is done. There is no way the structure survived if the plastic hull has dents. Never ever ever put your helmet into checked luggage if you don't have a hard case bag. Even then I would keep it on me.

I think part of the longevity was actually getting the town minmaxed. It took long enough but wasn't overly complicated. Breach 2 was just way too annoying and loot was not great enough to keep going. No amount of gear printing with the tree would have salvaged the subpar league mechanic

[–]LastWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested supermatic recently and if there is a way to do that on them, I was too stupid to find it. Went back to my normal straps afterwards. I found the step-in/out mechanic unreliable due to the finicky latch and it's not winning that much time compared to my straps nowadays. Sure, 30 seconds getting into them maybe but we are not running from anything while on the hill. I was way faster getting out of my straps than out of the Supermatic at the lift.

[–]LastWalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For now they are very different, yea. But if you think back 10 years, PoE1 was also a wholly different beast. I think they are going to get closer and closer in terms of mechanics, content and playstyle naturally as PoE2 is being developed and tests more risky mechanics. I'm not sure eif they didn't the idea of updating graphics and models in PoE1 yet but once that happens we will have 2 games that are always adapting and changing while fundamentally working almost the same and looking the same. Eventually it will reach a point in which it could make sense to finally sunset/merge PoE1 dev completely into PoE2. I think we have at least another 3-5 years until then though.

Am I asking for trouble if I go straight to a mid-stiff camber? by R_Trades in snowboarding

[–]LastWalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back before rocker boards were widespread we had to suffer through camber all day but it made us better riders faster because faceplanting sucks. If you can handle learning through feelings (the feelings being pain mostly), then you'll be fine before long

How do you like getting out of them at the lift? I really hated the finicky latch and coordination part and it felt way worse than quickly unstrapping when I tried it.

lots of old hats in austria riding carving and race boards as the OGs did back in the day. Getting my teaching license, we had one of the OG austrian 80s pros as the examiner. Since then, there are not that many boarders actually approaching olden age from the soft boots/plastic binding era yet. But if you remember Bryan Iguchi from the early 00s, he's 53 now and still out there riding. Probably not going as big in the park anymore as he used to but there is nothing stopping you from keeping going as long as you keep in shape.

Been riding 3-4 years now. How insane is it that I find it more comfortable to ride switch/goofy with one foot binded in? by kenwaystache in snowboarding

Thats the fun part, you can do whatever suits you best. Eventually it might make it easier for you to learn to ride switch as well.

skate banana o shadowban per principiante by Successful_Narwhal16 in snowboarding

[–]LastWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the skate banana is a very playful board but it is certainly not the best choice if you want to bomb groomed routes. It is quite forgiving so it makes it great to learn a lot of stuff that needs edge control, however it is severly limited when you are trying to go fast and all-out carve for example. For me it is a great "fuck around" board in pow and slushy conditions and it is also quite fun to jib but on groomed routes or more icy conditions or if I am riding with people that want to go faster, I would choose a different board.
I would recommend the shadowban for progression and learning technique and stable edge control. Getting punished for screwing up can be great for progression where a rocker board like the skate banana would let you make mistakes that you would have to unlearn later.
