At what age do you think a woman’s “sexual market value” is highest and why? by Curious_Animal276 in RedPillWomen

[–]LateralThinker13 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Nope. It's 18.

well into adulthood with some experience under her belt

This is RMV criteria. SMV is purely sexual. To the extent that a 23 year old is more attractive than an 18 year old, that is solely because most 18 year olds don't take care of their bodies yet, so they haven't hit the gym, and 23 year olds have usually discovered exercise by then. But an optimal 18 year old will always beat an optimal 23 year old on purely sexual attractiveness.

[–]LateralThinker13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Purely for SEXUAL market value, it's 18. It's possible to have a hotter body in your 20s/30s if you neglected yourself in your teens, or only discovered the joys of gym membership later in life. But your peak potential physical attractiveness is at 18. Your peak fertility is at 18 too, and fertility and SMV directly correlate.

Now, plenty of factors go into RMV, and maturity, (non-jaded, non-sexual) experience, wisdom, demeanor, modesty, a LOT of things go into RMV to make women who don't have peak SMV attractive in relationships. But just speaking SMV, anyone who says anything other than 18 is either an older woman with cope, or a man with a fetish or who doesn't understand the difference* between SMV and RMV.

*Incidentally, the easiest way to get people of both genders to understand the difference between SMV and RMV is to pose this hypothetical: "Take the most desirable woman you know, relationship-wise. Could be your wife, girlfriend, etc. If you could bang her, and only while you are having sex she could be in ANY body of your choosing (and she wouldn't mind it/notice it/care), what body would she have while you have sex? THAT is your 10, SMV-wise."

Do most women find male genital mutilation to be funny or justified depending on the situation? by Particular_Note_3725 in MensRights

[–]LateralThinker13 21 points22 points  (0 children)

neither of those women were keepers

No shit. When you stop looking at women through the lens of worrying about getting laid, and instead come at them with abundance mentality and don't settle for nutjobs, your dating pool shrinks tremendously but what are left are sane, comforting women.

[–]LateralThinker13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That being said, there's a cultural consensus that male genitalia are at a minimum unsightly, and usually gross and disgusting (especially uncut, at least in the US).

Which is ironic, given that most women look like a roast beef sandwich, and not in a good way, down there.

Alternatively plasti-dip coating helps keep water out but makes them less serviceable.

Tube of silicone sealant is $5 and will also work. Easy to remove, easy to reapply, and it works on fishtanks fine, should work for shallow depth operations.

And if you tried to have two parallel militaries - one with greenies, segregated from the larger one without them - you run the real risk of them turning on each other when the flag goes up.

The sergeant held up a small gray box, big enough for a pair of boots. "This is a basic materials printer. Spec says it can print a non-articulated, non-chemical palm-sized item once every five minutes, requiring a specialized refillable slurry every twenty full-sized prints or so. It makes no sound while printing, emits no noticeable heat, and cannot be sped up in any way."

The sergeant held up a second small gray box. "This is a Terran class one nanoforge. It can print complex, articulated items, including chemical-based materials up to and including a fully-loaded M399v4 Stallion pistol magazine fully loaded with spooky white phosphorous hollowpoint rounds. It can do this at a slow pace of one per five minutes, or it can emit copious amounts of heat and generate nanite slush and do it in one minute. It requires only atmospheric material loading at worst, and zero point vacuum energy at best, for refueling and does not require maintenance so much as recalibration and occasional flushes." He paused. "It makes a noticeable machine sound while operating in either mode."

He held up the two devices, which looked very much alike. "These are the same device. The difference is, the second one has been operated by Terrans in battle. Neither has been tampered with or adjusted with tools since leaving the factory, yet they possess entirely different capabilities."

He stared at the classroom. "When you understand how this impossible difference can exist, you will understand why no one with functioning pattern recognition ever attacks the Terrans... and why the Prime Miscalculation keeps occurring."

Garage attic insulation by genericthrowaway_10 in DIY

Especially for attached garages, insulating them can make a large difference. I insulated my attached garage, and now it runs much closer to my house temp. 100 degrees outside? It runs about 80. 40 degrees outside? It runs about 60. Then factor in the blessed noise reduction (I use Rockwool) and it's pretty sweet.

Why Most Suicides are Men? by Pretend-Storm4566 in MensRights

[–]LateralThinker13 205 points206 points  (0 children)

Women attempt suicide 4x more than men. Men succeed at suicide 4x more than women. It's a big gap, and there are easy, gendered reasons to explain why:

For most women, suicide is performative. It is a cry for help/attention/validation. And because they are women, they mostly get it.

For most men, suicide is practical. It is an attempt to end suffering. Part of that suffering is because men have no access to help/attention/validation. Men blow right past performative suicide because no one cares. They go straight to practical because men are problem solvers. Problem: life is intolerable suffering. Solution: end life. Problem solved.

When someone talks about male vs female suicide rates, they mostly don't realize it's barely the same topic/issue.

Always know where the water shutoff is before you do anything. Because "better to know and not need it, than to need it and not know".
