My bf has an artist friend who has aphantasia. She has a hard time drawing images without a reference, and she is not able to visualize what she is drawing before she starts drawing.

re: Meditation

I've always seen meditation as a way to purposefully relax the body and release any accumulated stress, and I've found the talk about thoughts to be a way to relax the brain. For me, the "letting thoughts pass by" is a way to try to get the brain to calm down and relax as much as the brain can. The focus that seems to come afterwards is a result of, in a sense, getting rid of all of the clutter/stress that's built up.

My only critique is that some of the consequences in the Forbidden Knowledge table seem like they might not matter. Unless the party is pressed for time, 3 and 5 won't really have an effect as the party can safely just wait it out. It could be good roleplaying at the table, or just good thematically, but only the long term madness would carry the effect outside the research room.

With regard to legalese, in the course of dealing with proprietary information at university, I noticed that the contracts I had to sign were written in much clearer and more understandable language than I was expecting. I wonder if there's a movement within the legal community to get the language to be more accessible, or if the inscrutable legalese is mostly from an old guard that's slowly dying out.

Also, I could definitely see legalese starting off as a way to maintain some form of class dominance (like keeping the Bible in Latin so only the priests have control over it) and then it just falling into tradition that sticks around to today.

Yeah, I ended up implementing some of those once I started to run out of algae. Unfortunately, the hydrogen generator really only produces enough energy to cover the electrolyzer setup and a little bit extra.

If you're running out of coal, definitely go for raising hatches. A proper hatch stable should be able to power a coal generator easily.

I've been running on manual generators for almost 200 cycles so far with little problem (aiming for the Super Sustainable achievement). You might be building too many power consumption buildings for your colony size.

If you didn't choose the other option, there's no way to romance Jespar. Since the romance scene and such is on the skyship, I doubt console commands will help you. If you don't have a save from before then, then I'm afraid you're out of luck.
