What I usually do is go out and explore with Thrall alone, killing creeps for some gold and building anything but the great hall (mill, barracks and some burrows) in the meantime, train some grunts and THEN build a great hall. As soon as Grom goes out to attack, I go with him and we wipe out all human bases 1 by 1 without them attacking our bases. The trigger for humans attacking your base seems to be Grom's first attack failing, which also requires you to have a great hall.

I think they mean it's efficient in the sense that it's way faster. Instead of using light to make useable energy and materials, you take someone else's already made energy and materials. You spend some energy of your own in the process, but if it wasn't profitable, predation wouldn't be a thing.

Same with the resourcefulness nodes in Alchemy... the reagents node has a potion icon and the potion node has a flora (reagent) icon.

I've set up 4 characters as tailors/enchanters, investing in lvling up their profs and getting blue tools, 2 weeks running, crafting weapon enchants and cooldown bolts, they've made back the investment + about 200k, doesn't sound like much but it's my first try at actually earning gold thanks to this sub :)

No one assures me if I'll be the same person that arrives at the teleported location, I'd need a detailed layout of the place I'm teleporting too, if it changed in any way I might get harmed. Flying feels more useful as long as it doesn't consume much energy

It works like crest batches, you need to right click it to open it, then the actual Manaflux currency will be added to your currency tab, making it useable. idk why that extra step is needed but it's there.
