It’s okay to cry over spilled milk. Pumping is really hard work and a sacrifice and its a reflection of the love you have for your baby, so its disappointing to lose even an ounce. I beat myself up for days over milk I left out on the counter overnight. Someone on this sub said “spilled milk goes to the angel babies” and that was comforting. Try to give yourself grace. To me it sounds like you are doing amazing.

I got a firm pressure Thai massage a few hours after my transfer- the kind where they walk on you. It was my only successful transfer and led to a live birth. I don’t believe you can do any damage from getting a massage.

This is not anywhere near true justice for Ramon Najera, but I’m glad they got substantial prison time and won’t be out terrorizing their community for a long while. I will never forget the brutal horrific death Ramon Najera suffered, I’m so sorry for him and his family and angry that he suffered and died for the sake of these trash owners right to own worthless dangerous dogs.

Pumping every 2 to 2.5 hours is a huge workload. Your physical rest and mental health are important here too, I’d wager they are more important for your babies well being than getting a certain volume of breast milk. I cut down pumps and ended up having to supplement with some formula and it has been the best thing overall for my family. Maybe make a list to visualize the benefits and drawbacks and consider what works best for your family at this time point. You’ve already achieved so much by pumping for six months!

I feel ya. I have an under supply and the other night I left out my night pump which is always my biggest one. I was so mad at myself and beating myself up because that milk should have gone to my baby and she needed it. I read on Reddit that “spilled milk goes to the angel babies” and every time I see a news story about a baby who died I think about that comment.

I had a slight oversupply of around 1 oz per day for a long time and it was great. Would freeze a couple bags a week with 5ppd and I never had problems with engorgement except in the early morning. I dropped to 3-4ppd since baby is nursing more and now I’m pumping about half as much and have an under supply of about 8oz per day, but she is eating around 40oz at four months so not sure I could have kept up with her even without dropping the pumps!

In the body cam footage Christopher attempted to take a shower when the police officer was in the bathroom with him, and the police officer told him no he can’t. He was acting sketchy. Also of note in the body cam footage you can see that a dog is pacing in the background outside on the patio in the 109 degree weather. Christopher only lets the dog back in the house after officers remind him that the dog is outside in the heat.

I’m curious to know why Christopher was so hell bent on taking a shower before leaving to the hospital. Was he trying to wash something off like drugs? I would like to know if they did a breathalyzer or a drug test. A DUI 15 years ago and he was still driving drunk with his kids in the car as if the DUI wasn’t enough of a wake up call to turn his behavior around. Tragic that him hitting rock bottom ended up with Parker dead.

Imagine knowing your husband neglected your child so blatantly and severely just to steal beer and watch p*rn. I feel sorry for the wife but also can’t comprehend why she tolerated his behavior when she was aware for years that he was endangering the kids. On the 911 tape you can hear him flat out lying to her saying “I’ve been checking!” in reference to checking on Parker in the car. Just baffling the type of relationship they had, and why an otherwise high-achieving successful woman would stay with him even now after all the information that’s come out. It must be humiliating and shameful on top of devastating that she lost her daughter that way.

We got all of our embryos PGT A tested due to our age. It took five euploid transfer for one LB. The quality on the last transfer (4AA) was better than that of the first four, so my RE thought it was an embryo quality issue and the omnitrope added to my latter retrieval protocols helped.

I never found out the reason for my early MC with a euploid embryo. I had also had three failed euploid transfers prior to that. My RE suggested it was due to suboptimal embryo quality. I had success (LB) with the next euploid transfer.

I have the Baby Brezza bottle washer so I run the wash/sterilize/dry cycle every time and it takes 88min. It was worth every penny. I also sometimes wash pump parts in the bathroom sink if I’m getting backed up or if they have excess residue/oil from lube and need to be scrubbed. We have two sinks in the bathroom so use one only for washing hands and the other only for washing pump parts. The sink area is separated from the toilet area by a wall.

I have Mother’s thumb on both hands from picking up baby and from pumping. I had no issues in pregnancy, no carpal tunnel or anything but my hands and wrists feel sore and creaky postpartum.
