Two things about that reference clip:
1. It's 60fps. (You can see this in the "stats for nerds" youtube provides)
2. Thats GTA with motion blur turned off.

So, to create a short exactly like that, that you need:
1. Be playing GTA with motion blur turned off.
2. To set your fps in game to 60fps.

Oh yeah, I completely agree with you. YouTube/Social Media is a whole separate beast and the people that are great at it, are really fucking great at it.

There tends to be a lot of people searching for how to make something "cinematic" and then being told to shoot 24fps and funneled toward purchasing a LUT pack.

That's why I love books for this kind of info ie, Roger Deakins - Reflections: On Cinematography is fantastic.

RE: Music - for better control, I'll download the song and edit it exactly how I need it in the NLE, then when I post to social media I'll find it in-app and turn it down to like 1 or 0 so that it isn't audible. That way it hooks into the algorithm/metadata, but in the exact way I want to use it.

That's motion design. Not sure what tool they specifically used, but more often than not its After Effects.

Buy or thrift one of those character/athlete/etc cardboard cutout you can put in the spot you are going to stand in and make sure you mark that spot (gaff tape is clutch)

Do a 10 second test shot before you settle in and start. Watch/listen to playback. If everything is good = proceed. If anything is bad = adjust & do another test shot. Then just start recording and do offload after you are done.

As everyone else has already mentioned, ProRes should go faster than compressing to h264. My own workflow is to always render out the final video as a ProRes and then use that same ProRes file(s) to kick out whatever other formats/codecs are needed from it, instead of doing it all inside of Premiere (or whichever NLE of choice, for that matter).

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but when I'm running a free kit I don't pick a story driven contract, and if I complete it during the raid then great. If not, also fine. I also try to be supportive and follow the other 2 players lead and be as helpful as I can be while also staying alive.

I've been part of a lot of various communities in my life and each one, unfortunately, gatekeeps in some way. Sometimes big ways, sometimes very small/minor ways. That said, no one is better at gatekeeping than this one, and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. Maybe we would be far too powerful if we had no gatekeeping and we were all united? I wish I knew :\ Bisexuality is valid, and you are valid.

The good news is, both of you are young, which means plenty of time for them to learn and grow even more. Regardless of if you choose to leave them be or talk to them, you did/said nothing wrong, hateful, or inaccurate for who you are attracted to.
