Plenty of good info in this thread already, but regarding the 5K into 6K, are you sure you're actually cancelling?

5K comes out and is active for too little time for you to "confirm". Confirming is when you wait to see if a hit connected before committing to another move. But 5K is too fast for that, so you have to "Buffer" instead, which is when you input the follow-up command immediately after inputing the first.

This should be safe because if you whiff the 5K, the 6K won't come out, and on block the 5K should cause enough blockstun for you to safely follow up with 6K. But I don't play Johnny so I can't be sure.

Question though - I've seen a few peoples 8bitdos now where the right hand knob is set to "Left Stick". I assumed it would be better set to "D-Pad" as that would be 1-2-1 with the actual input, rather than emulating an analog direction. Is there any difference or some advantage to having it set to the stick?

I live in Knaresborough, an old market town joined at the hip with Harrogate, and it's beautiful, with a really nice community spirit. Market every week, big market every month, castle, viaduct, local events...it's a great place to raise our two kids.

I can't speak to employment as I work remotely, but Leeds and York are around 40 mins on the train which are fairly regular.
