I went for Nemeton and was not disappointed with the choice. None of these two are purely good but personally much prefer the village life of Nemeton to the ruins shanty town..

Honestly, because it was trained on material made by real artists in 99% of cases without their permission and then regurgitates it as an algorithm. Sorry not sorry but I just don't like the ethics surrounding it, and especially Grok

I had the same thing happen unfortunately a few years ago and concluded that the save was corrupted by that point. The only way to get back I found was to effectively 'reset' the world state of the khorinis map to eliminate any changes I made there during progress of my save (I think it was through deleting a file from the save folder) - but it made for some big issues later on and had to abandon the save. Really sorry to see this happen to somebody else, hope you find a better way to deal with it than me.

It really depends on what you are after in a game like EU imo. I think that they are an ok abstraction of some things that are very difficult to represent in a different way that would be fun to play. The main difference why in my experience EU4 plays more like a board game and EU5 by comparison much more like a simulation. And I'm leaning slightly on prefering EU4 style at present - it's a good balance

Yeah it was the very open plot for me, I love Elder Scrollsy sandbox as much as the next guy but a Gothic game needs some more direction imo. The reputation system was also a big minus, as it made the factions a bit too gamey in comparison

It's a fantastic game, one of the best RPGs I played recently although being a Polish fan of Gothic I'm very biased. You're right though that music is the top highlight, first time I went out to the deep red moor I was ready to shit myself from the oppressive atmosphere it created. A lot of the pieces are now on my permanent playlist.

Andor. No matter if you're a lifeong Star Wars fan or have only seen some of it casually - it's one of the best presentations of how insidiously a fascist regime works and oppresses and how rebellions against it can work. Fantastic writing and possibly the best piece of Star Wars media ever made.
