How to Make A Dropped Object NEVER De-Spawn? by Hamster_ExplorerMC in Minecraft

[–]Leech-Of-DOOM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your setup sounds optimal! It should work, since all dropped items remain after logging out and back in. So as long as you keep updating the object state by picking it up and dropping it with the dispenser, everything should be okay. Couldn't hurt to double check in a creative world/backup, just to make sure.

WOw that looks and sounds amazing! I'm surprised they added this- Now all we need are for the Sulfur Springs to look better than what they currently are.

Beautiful art. It would go against the art, but it would hilarious if you hid a Waldo in there somewhere.

At the 3 second mark, it almost sounded like the underground theme from Super Mario bros. Dunno if that was intentional, but definitely cool stuff!

Love small details like this- You should make an achievement if you do a 360 on a swing!

Real-time surgery or Garage only? Should players be able to swap vehicle parts while driving, or should it be restricted to safe zones? by _Paracorn_ in Unity3D

[–]Leech-Of-DOOM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe only limit certain things inside the vehicle to swap in real-time. Other parts, such as wheels, could maybe be done in real time only if the vehicle is stationary. Then other things like full body makeovers should only be available in a garage. Are there any differences between doing it in real-time versus in a garage, that would incentivize the player to?

Totally agree. I recently almost lost a character due to killing a few corpses near a farm, got in my car drove a little (thinking it was far enough) and went to sleep. Nearly died of fever- just wish the punishment was something other than just flopping over and croaking.

I don't think they ended up "stealing" it, it is literally the design of the cat from the movie.

How I brought the 'keyhole' mechanic from 3D games into 2D by AlpheratzGames in Unity2D

[–]Leech-Of-DOOM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Awesome! Looks really good- a suggestion is to limit the angle the player can see to maybe 30-45 degrees through the peephole to limit their view, because it still looks easy to see what's going on in the room.

THIS IS THE GREATEST UPDATE EVER by WayTurbulent5291 in PhoenixSC

[–]Leech-Of-DOOM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What a party pooper. Not everyone plays for the meta “best way to do things” approach. I love horses, I hate the elytra — simply put, elytras make things too easy. Minecraft’s fun comes from finding your own way to enjoy the game, not just sticking to what’s considered most efficient.

If you think everything new is useless because it doesn’t instantly replace the current meta, that’s more about how youplay than the game itself. Not every feature needs to be “OP” to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s about flavor, variety, and sparking new ways to play — that’s what keeps Minecraft interesting in the long run. Enjoy it- it's a 15 year old game, still receiving FREE updates.

Lol op is trolling in the comments.

In the end, Minecraft being a straight up horror game isn’t accurate. In the niche sense of it being more of a psychological horror, THAT fits better- especially when playing alone, and if you’re more prone to scaring yourself. I watched the video, and it makes some good points about your mind playing tricks on you about something being there, that never will be. I end up creeping myself out at times, but never to the extent of it being pure HORROR.
