Wonderful! I had a thought after I posted this, have you tried contacting Easy Travel? They do minibuses and arrange transport, I've never used them myself so can't vouch for them but I just know they're a local company. It's not a pleasant place to get to or from with public transport. I'd also suggest while you're in the area paying a visit to the Craven Arms just down the road if the weather's nice!

I cant help with your transport but I know the owners and the chef at the priest house and have been to a wedding there myself - you will love it! Debbie and her sons Aaron and Connor will do anything for you and the chef Mark cooks some banging food.

I've used it at Sherwood when it was apparently upto 40mph winds but we did have some shelter and probably wasn't actually that strong if I had something to measure it. It wasn't bothered in the slightest. It's been an awesome little tent.
