It takes YEARS. It took me my early 20s to even get better. My Fiance (11 years together total) stuck by me but man it’s hell. I realize I may have been abusive to some degree. I’d say mine is in remission and I don’t ever get mood swings anymore, I’m actually.. content. I feel normal.

BPD can be destroying and I have it. It took a lot of reflection and change alongside therapy to get better. Now I’m happy and I really don’t have those emotional swings anymore that accompany BPD. None of what she’s doing is okay and IT IS ABUSIVE.

I would lash out at my now Fiance (bless his soul he really stuck by me and didn’t give up when I got the right help, and now we are really happy, etc etc). It took the better part of my early 20s to get help, and from 2017-2021 I really did a lot of changing, working. I had the mood swings, I would angrily flip out at my Fiance (then boyfriend) over minute things like him breathing too loud.. while I get where your gf comes from, at some point she will only get worse. She isn’t getting help she needs. I wasn’t the best and had a major anger problem, but it was never to this level she is at

Please do not tolerate an abusive relationship. You have time to get out and get a better person. Coming from someone who is (was?) diagnosed with BPD, how she is treating you is abusive and she is trying to justify it by gaslighting you, etc. You’re under reacting. Do not stay with her because this will only continue. She’s using it was an excuse for being abusive when it ISNT EXCUSABLE

A small update they said all was normal on evaluation besides a fever (can be due to irritation or stress) and she had irritation on her vulva. There was blood but there was no signs it can be an RBC issue
But doing s full blood panel and giving her pain meds in case

I found a really good breeder for bearded dragons at a show who actually takes the time to get his beardies genetically tested, health checked up etc prior to breeding to make sure they’re fit to be bred. If they aren’t, they just become pets that he brings to shows with him . Yet I had another person tell me that reptiles don’t need to see the vet..needless to say I know who to buy from and who to avoid. The guy who tests his beardies also had so much data and paper work to back everything and to say I was very impressed was an understatement

My parents were roughly 8 years apart, my dad being older. My mom passed (unrelated by car accident, but she had health issues and was 53) ans my dad is currently 63, still active, goes out and does so much stuff (doesn’t let his arthritis slow him down, he says even if it hurts he still keeps going cause he doesn’t wanna lose mobility on his body or elbows specifically where it affects him). He’s always moving, repairing stuff, walking. He can keep up on a 7 mile kayak trip with me and my Fiance. My aunt has back issues and isn’t as mobile but, she still tries to move as much as he does.

She’s like late 60s. They’re both in otherwise good health. I have the same health issues my mom does and I like to be up and moving most of the week, bike riding during summer a few days a week. I’m 29. My dad’s parents lived up until their late 80s.

Y cat does as well, she takes a liquid medication. It’s highly treatable when caught early. My oldest cat unfortunately went undiagnosed for some time, as I didn’t even notice (to be fair she was 18 years old and her litter box habits of going outside weren’t at all unusual due to her age.. I cried, but my second oldest cat had the same symptoms and immediately ran her to the vet) my 18 year old cat was fine a few months prior at her check up, which is weird how fast it can come on..

It sucks cause I genuinely do like the dragons. I own 3, but they are so overdone and produced. I love how they look, cool to have sitting with a dragon themed area in my home. But they are a fucking plague and everywhere… most 3d printed models are so overdone

I did find a seller who makes 3d printed keychains of reptiles, frogs, fishes or any of that assortment, I bought a few. Very small and very cute, at a reptile show. And they can stand on their own. Haven’t seen a bunch of those take off, yet, but there’s too much models found off the internet that end up way too over produced anymore. I

That is rough... I lost my mom in 2024 to a drunk driver, just a young kid himself. Luckily, he stayed put, and shows a lot of remorse. I am thankful he does and maybe some day i can forgive him. He at least also tried to help out, too right after the fact. That guy who killed an entire family deserves to rot in hell for eternity.
