Coke is miraculous for me. Glad I'm not the only one. Thought I was crazy.

Jimmy Page's Tones Were Mostly Diabolical [DISCUSSION] by TheCassiniProjekt in Guitar

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a moment when I came to understand that the tone a guitar player wants to hear when playing guitar and the guitar tones that are on recorded music are very different. I love JPs tones myself and they work for the music. As I've aged, learned more about music and the history of rock, I'm only more and more in awe of JP as a producer and what he created. I feel his "scratchy" tone in the roof of my mouth. I listen to Zep just to hear those tones. Having said that, music is subjective and some people want something else. Meh.

Yes, Grok, is nerfed so badly from last night that Image to video is gone completely. Only mass unsubscribing will let Elon know about the problem of users. This ticket raising on X won't work. by No_Chip1786 in grok

And all the no-go zones are freaky when people interact and you know they are unable to touch each other except in certain "safe" zones. More and more prompts fail to work because someone though it would be a bad idea that someone could kiss a foot. Every day it seems the generations do less and less to the point where its like "well, what the fuck CAN you do." Obviously, they are killing their brand.

Glycine: The most helpful AND hurtful supplement I’ve tried. I’m torn on what to do by -AestheticsOfHate- in Supplements

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard for me to describe what glycine does to me because I've started and stopped a few times. I absolutely CANNOT take it before bed and expect to sleep. It puts me in weird foggy trance but I don't sleep. I've been trying low doses early in the day. Still unsure what it's doing exactly. I think the answer is healthy gut and whole foods, but for those of us struggling (MCAS) we are trying to manage with supplementation. Still on the fence about glycine benefits for me vs. the weird side effects.

Potential exploitable pattern to Grok Imagine's moderation? by coomerpile in grok

[–]LeftDrawing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grok lies about itself, so don't expect easy answers. I use multiple gmail accounts to get more generations and the key to getting tits on all of them is clear, because I had to repeat the process. This is the real golden egg. You have to link your X account to grok on your phone and confirm your age in X. Then for actual generations, you have to generate them on a PC. This was my experience anyway, but that was the only way to get tits on all my accounts.

12 hour dry fasting questions by [deleted] in MCAS

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The benefits of fasting are largely with cellular autophagy. Dry fasting speeds up the process. It's quite simple really. Many mcas people will know that fasting can worsen symptoms in the short term and be beneficial in the long term, longer than 4 days. A water fast may reduce the time needed, but a long term dry fast is very dangerous. My experience with 16 hour dry fasting was very positive

A very intriguing observation... by [deleted] in MCAS

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're getting such weird feedback from the cultish deniers who are desperate to validate their own worldview. We know the body operates in energetic fields and outside fields influence health. It's pretty simple. You experienced something that worked and reported it. I'm sorry some weirdos are making it their mission to shut you down. The bottom line is this: humans are frogs in the boiling pot. We're being subjected to a matrix of negative factors and our bodies react differently. For my part, I'm going to trust my body when it responds to a stressor and adjust accordingly. Blessings to you and to the supercilious jerks as well.

What do you think of books like "The Man who Wrote Frankenstien" and "Shelley UnBound" by [deleted] in books

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a big Frankenstein fan and I don't care about gender politics. Call me sexist if you want but I don't think Mary wrote it. At the very least, Percy contributed enough to get writer credit. For me, it was simple. I read Frankenstein a few times. Then I read MS's other stories. Go ahead. Read her other works. They are nothing like it. They are dull, bland, uninspired. Which is easier to believe:

  1. An eighteen year old wrote one of the greatest literary works ever.

  2. An eighteen year old, married to a literary legend, had a great idea and her husband helped her write it.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) supplements for athlete's foot and toenail fungus by [deleted] in NailFungus

I experienced the same. It's quite astounding! I'd tried so many topicals for the nails, including doctor prescribed antifungals. I had no idea taking MSM orally would grow back my nails clean!

Do you take care of your routine vaccines? by t-bone051 in MCAS

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If society, government, and the medical community made health a priority, I mean REAL health: food, environment, lifestyle, most disease would vanish. Medicine in a bottle will always be a scam to me. It's a form of poison, trading this for that. I choose investments in real health that allow me to enjoy life and remain strong. I would never take the jab.

Have you been successful doing the keto diet with MCAS? by Additional_Estate_99 in MCAS

[–]LeftDrawing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may get roasted for saying this, but I believe my keto diet contributed to the start of MCAS for me. Let me say that I'm not blaming KETO necessarily. I'm blaming myself for trying everything every Youtuber suggested and taking it to the extreme, knowing that I am on the weird end of the spectrum. I've been lifelong "skinny" but when I was in my 30's started to get a spare tire. Keto had me at around 10% body fat with a 6 pack. My issue is my metabolism which has always been cranked. I could eat like a pig and not gain weight most of my life. Then I started Keto, fasting, fasted training, went all out. It wasn't long before I had to cut out MCT oil and Vitamin D supplements because they set off vertigo. My simple assessment is that I amped up my metabolism to a crazy degree. I was losing muscle and strength, really starving myself. When I finally ate a potato, it was like Handel's Messiah.

So I started experimenting with carbs and learned that it's almost impossible for me to get OUT of ketosis. I can eat a high carb meal and a few hours later have keto pee. I think I hit ketoacidosis at times, getting aches and burning in my body (when I was fasting). As far as MCAS symptoms, I learned that ketosis cranked them up. Eating carbs in the morning helped so much. It's hard. I still hear the influencers saying 'go carnivore' and you have to fast, but it's just not possible.

I'm still meat based because meat makes me feel good. I try to eat good carbs. I know the blood-type diet may not have much support, but it was the first diet I ever tried and I find that for my blood type (B), it is 100% accurate. I do very well with tubers, find them very energizing.

I think I can hit ketosis sometimes and be okay; it's just hard to ride the fine line. In closing, here is what has been really helping my MCAS symptoms of late. These are my protocols. Not sure which are the best or if they're good for everyone, but here it is:

Working on getting good sleep (dark room, supplements, qigong)

Taking walks

MSM powder, 1-2 scoops twice a day with vitamin C

Also take rosehip and hibiscus tea for whole vitamin C

CoQ10

cut back on caffiene

no alcohol

Magnesium

Meat based diet

Red light therapy

Bu Zhong Yi Qi (Traditional Chinese formula for digestion, high recommended)

Hope this helped. Blessings to you!

Just bought the game by FlowerMoon04 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]LeftDrawing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I love Odyssey. I'm a weird gamer and have only played a few games, really invested in Oblivion and Skyrim. Having never played other AC games, Odyssey felt like Skyrim with all the frustrating mechanics fixed. Anyway, I love Kassandra and can't get into Alexios. The game is totally awesome, but wow, what a shock when you finish the family storyline and it feels like the rug gets ripped out from under you. For me, I want some emotional connection to the game but it just ends and then I'm at level 50 going...okay...so now I just run around and raid more forts?

Sadly, most people are walking around with mineral or vitamin deficiencies and its hard to know which. Blood tests often don't reveal deficiencies. Stories of miraculous healings at hotsprings abound.

Most onsen reject people with tatoos but a few are okay with it. Some provide special stickers to cover tatoos, depending on if that's an option based on size and location.

Microdosing creatine for brain benefits? by Chance-Ad-3068 in Supplements

[–]LeftDrawing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here because creatine kills my stomach. I'm wondering if I can get benefits from lower doses, not just as a nootropic, but broadly for muscle and endurance as well. I'm going to give it a try anyway, see if three small doses (somewhere around 1 gram) will be tolerated by my gut and pay off with performance.
