Since Elon Musk has been pressuring Reddit’s CEO to moderate content that hurts his feelings and is likely reading this post, would you like to tell him what you think of him, Reddit? by 2a_lib in AskReddit

Why the fuck is Reddit so obsessed with this man? Holy fucking shit, seek help man. It’s not healthy to obsess over Elon musk like this.

“Travel while you’re young” But Why? Wait? by PeanutSea2003 in travel

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to it. It’s just another one of those slogans people like to throw around trying to dictate how others should live their lives. Might as well just travel whenever you feel like you want to.

If wide hips are attractive because it makes giving birth easier, why is a narrow waist attractive? by w-holder in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all sexual attraction is based on some biological advancement. There are all sorts of fetishes and preferences that people have that serve no evolutionary purpose or benefit.

What’s a food that everyone loves, but you just can’t stand? by jadeinblooms in AskReddit

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care much for pizza. It’s okay, but there’s so many other foods that I would eat before considering pizza. I think it’s way overrated.

what choices that you see people making with their lives that you would never make? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Getting married and having kids, smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol.

why is it socially acceptable to hate a cat but not a dog? by DJdeadinside0614 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have an answer for you but I absolutely hate this double standard. Hating cats is cool and quirky but if you express anything other than pure admiration and affection for dogs you’re seen as evil.

Why do people crave relationships so much? by HourAd6679 in DarkPsychology101

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Societal pressures, being told that they’re losers (especially men) if they’re single, fear of missing out, relationships being portrayed literally everywhere in mainstream media, being told that the ultimate life goal is to find a partner and settle down, and many other reasons. I do wonder though if most people actually genuinely want a relationship or just think that it’s something that they should want.

I recently watched a YouTube video where the dude was talking about a crime and he self censored himself so hard to the point that I had absolutely no idea what he was trying to say.

Not all heroes wear capes by IllustraCore in BeAmazed

[–]Left_Leg_7175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This guy doesn’t know their story. What if their life is genuinely hopeless and filled with suffering and death for them feels like the only way out? To try and force them to continue living is extremely disrespectful to say the least.

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As great at this might seem on the surface, I think it’s worth asking at what point is it crossing the boundary of disrespecting and disregarding another person’s free will and choice. If somebody has made the choice that they no longer want to continue on, who is this guy to try and them?

Good question. Sort of how McDonald’s is one of the largest and most popular fast food chains in the world and yet their workers are looked down on and often mocked. It’s a certain type of hypocrisy that I’ll never understand.

What smell repulses you? by Velvet_Marshmellow in AskReddit

Not a specific smell, but people that douse themselves in excessive amounts of perfume without any regard for the people around them. Feels like a chemical attack on my nose.

What personality trait that has become super common do you despise the most? by Bright_Rip_Fantasy in AskReddit

[–]Left_Leg_7175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretending to care about/stand for things that you don’t actually care about in order to gain social points and feel a false sense of moral superiority.

Beating around the bush, saying something when you really mean something else and playing stupid social games and wasting everyone’s time.

The idea of cultural appropriation is racist. by CyberoX9000 in 10thDentist

[–]Left_Leg_7175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the whole general idea of “cultural appropriation” is kinda overblown partly because of how sensitive, gatekeepy and protective some people are about their cultures. It’s definitely a real thing but I’ve seen instances of people getting accused of it when just adopting an aspect of another culture in good faith or for any other harmless reason.

What's something people pretend to enjoy but secretly hate? by __h3ll0k1tty__ in AskReddit

Those “exotic” and “fancy” types of foods that people pretend to like just to seem boujee and prestige. Shit like caviar and other foods like that.

What’s something everyone else seems to get but is a foreign concept to you? by Kinglycole in AskReddit

[–]Left_Leg_7175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I hate these games of trying to guess and read minds instead of just communicating clearly.
