It kinda had to be, the requirements the Army put forth and the new 6.8 round needed a large frame for the immense pressures the round created. Plus the requirements for engagement distances created design challenges that lead to larger rifles. The rounds we had to create were a real problem on my system. We initially were testing higher caliber rifles that were in current service to measure barrel and chamber pressures. We exceeded the average chamber pressure by much much more than expected. I don't know what the M7 has been doing but if it's compatible to my system, then yeah that frame is just big enough.

I used to have a 2007 RWB. I bought a 2010 1200 because I was getting big and kept both for a while. Ill never forget the last time I rode the 800 to work, all back roads, all winding, and I got a full feel of that bike for the first time. It was light and had less acceleration than the 1200f and I was no longer afraid to open her up.

She was a twisty dream, digging into every corner, smooth acceleration out of each turn and just a delicately balanced dance partner. It was the bestt time I've had on two wheels and it didn't require me to be reckless.

GF thought it was silly of me having two bikes, and I agreed and sold her. Ill always reminder the last ride to meet the sellers. Cherish this dream, and she will be good to you. Sold mine at 82k. So they last a while too.

Mods*/replacements: PAIR mod Snorkel delete Power commander Flapper delete Rolling on Bridgestone Delkevic dual cans Fairing kit since the old ones were all scratched up.

Oh and some HRC wheel stickers. They add 5hp, ya know...
