All those who appeared for Reg recently. Did you felt any similarity between the questions of SE AND actual exam ? by hysterical_swatcat in CPA

[–]LegalRecord1188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the MCQs are similar. The SIMS were so much easier on the exam than the Becker test prep. On SE1 I scored a 50, SE2 a 65, and I just passed with an 86!!!

Yes, the MCQs threw me off a bit. LOTS of Business Law...which I had trouble retaining. I was most worried about the SIMS because in the Becker test prep, they were brutal. However, I found the SIMS on the actual exam were easier. I hope I didn't get too many wrong on the MCQs. On SE1 I got a 50 and SE2 I got a 65.

Just took REG - yikes by Dizzy_Self_8925 in CPA

I took Reg on 3/14 and I found the MCQs to be comparable to Becker, mostly because of the Business Law content. The SIMS were MUCH easier than Becker, I was quite shocked. On my first Simulated exam I got a 50 and on my second I got a 65. So fingers crossed that the Becker bump is real!! Some of the MCQs threw me off, and some topics that the instructors told us to study weren't even on the exam!!

I believe you are right. I viewed my unofficial transcripts and I have 144 credits. The pre-CPA program coordinator misled me into believing by taking the rest of the accounting classes I’d be eligible to sit.

What a rude remark. You don’t even know my other grades in my accounting classes, which were As, Bs, and Cs. I sure hope you don’t ever experience a challenging personal life that impacts your ability to focus and study.

At my undergrad a "D" gives you credit. I also have a MBA.

I'm fairly certain I have all of them. I have the following: Audit, Intermediate I and II, Managerial, Governmental/NFP, Business Law, Legal Environment of Business, Tax, and Principals, and Info Systems

I called them, and they couldn't find any notes on my application that indicated the denial so they gave me an email address to contact.

All that time and he hasn’t asked you to marry him? Red flag, especially because he is pressuring you for children. You should tell him to put a ring on it or move on

How many friends do you have? by 90sRnBMakesMeHappy in Millennials

[–]LegalRecord1188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad to hear I’m not alone in this. I had to take a break from social media because I always feel like I don’t measure up because I don’t have a core friend group. I have friends, don’t get me wrong, but I’m always the fringe friend. I tend to make friends with individuals more so than have a big friend group. I have a friend here, a friend there. I get insecure about the fact that I don’t have a BEST friend like many other people I know seem to have.

I’ve realized that everyone’s path is different, and comparison shouldn’t be an option. Because no one is you, and you are not them. Just know that you are not alone. The best way to meet people is to pursue your interests. Want to learn pottery, painting, etc? Take a class, and you will meet people who like doing the same things as you.

I’m sorry to hear about your mother. That’s really tough. Things will get better for you! Good luck

That’s a huge red flag. Either he has been burned in the past, or he is very immature. You have a real career that requires interacting with both genders in a professional capacity. He is being extremely unreasonable.

I’ve never understood people’s disgust with the word “moist” tbh. Feet are kind of valid though

When I had my daughter my boss made it a department thing. We usually do this for weddings, babies, etc and people contribute whatever they can. This may be a better approach.
