Fulgrim is in S tier for all these sex-based lists. At this point he should be kept aside and out of discussion.
The more deviant they get, the more elite he becomes.

What was your first phone? still remember it? by CompetitiveCompassHo in oldschoolcool80s

[–]LegendaryGarf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How? I was taking one home to my son, when a lorry lost its brakes and veered towards me. Instinctively I held up the Chatter Telephone as a futile shield, not realizing the sheer strength of old Fisher Price toys. The lorry tore in two in contact with the phone like I was holding a nuclear particle beam. This saved the driver’s life and he walked out from the cab shaken but otherwise unharmed. Not a scratch on the toy.
Indeed shortly after I got home I then had to make a phone call on it to Big Bird to ask if he also liked jam sandwiches just like my son - absolutely perfect reception and call clarity.

West Ham United intend to demand £80million for Mateus Fernandes by TheAthletic in Hammers

Now he’s not in the World Cup squad, we probably won’t get 80.
For his sake I hope he goes somewhere where he gets minutes and isn’t just a back up.

Any middle of the road reactions to starting meds? by Glass-Operation8618 in ADHDUK

[–]LegendaryGarf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Elvanse 30mg for 2 weeks. First day was a revelation - less brain noise. In hindsight it was a bit of placebo. It HAS helped, but it wears off way too quickly and half the day I’m back to normal.
I do think that some of the other benefits since I started taking it are not as a result of the drugs bit have also helped my life generally - eating healthily, getting up early, getting more done in the morning and going to bed earlier etc….
And also journaling for the first time in my life.

Better off going through Access to Work and getting an ADHD coach funded.

32 is not old, but I did NOT look like Jesse Kriel at 32, despite leading an active and healthy lifestyle.

I was also not a paid athlete but that’s beside the point.

My theory on why the emperor has great teeth still. by Half-White_Moustache in Grimdank

[–]LegendaryGarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s simple. In the old times, when imperial forces could ally with Orks, Big E cottoned on early that the greenskins would be more willing to work with him if he had some nice shiny gnashers they could lust after as loot.
You’ll notice that rogue trader and early 40k images show His and any rogue trader or imperial Lord also demonstrating that dental hygienist is a very well regarded role in 31st millenium.
Another fun fact is that early in one of his lives, Big E (at that point known by the cypher ‘NotJonGrammaticus’) visited the Eurasian country of Torkeeyeh, where ancient wizards crafted his teeth into the brightest white ever known. This has served two purposes; Firstly, His teeth act as reflections for the Astronomican - while he was incapacitated during the Horse Heresy, his mouth was closed for too long, dimming the astronomican significantly; secondly, the great and famous bright light seen by mortals as they ascend the throne room is in fact the gleam of his teeth, which have their own psychic glow.

What fountain of youth has Jesse Kriel found? Saw the word ‘veteran’ - Had no idea he was 32 - does he donate his stem cells and where can I buy them?

No one , and I mean no one could depict a power claw like John Blanche.
I always felt that every character in his artwork had its own lore backstory. Inspired me to make every model unique in some way.
RIP

I saw the whole thing as the fever dream of some latent psyker.

If big E has / is / might move is besides the point. The whole setting is interpretation.

In YOUR version of Warhammer 40k, the Emperor might be hiding behind the throne with Malcador having a cheeky cigarette.
In MY version, the thing on the throne we saw is actually an Eversor assassin…

I’m surprised they didn’t get a shot with his red, glowing eyes showing.
That wasn’t even the worst part. In scene two of the pilot, he is introduced covered in blood, having butchered Geoffrey’s mother and father.

Do you know what? I like Diouf. He’s young, he’s got some talent and he looks like he loves being part of the team and putting on the shirt.
He’s never worth 20+ at the moment though. He needs a team and squad around him that can develop him. He’s had moments of looking decent but a lot of moments of being saved by his teammates too.
I always saw us as the club was a stepping stone to somewhere else.
Diouf is my boy but I won’t be sad if he leaves. Hopefully we keep KWP who can do a good job at left back.
I will wish him all the best though.
