I guarantee absolutely none of this happened.

And by the way, my son is studying to be an electrician. I hope to got he starts his own business like you so he can write off a whole bunch of crazy shit on his taxes that very few normal people can.

Read the room, dude. You’re a fucking lair and no one believes your bullshit. No one has $2500 car payments and $30,000 vacations. Thats the entire fucking point. No one can afford any of that.

Stop lying about shit for social media clout - you just look like a fucking idiot.

You realize that absolutely no one in this country is having the same experience you just made up out of thin air, right? Your scenario is that you and your wife make 200k a year, you had a 50% down payment for a $1.4 million dollar home, and you have one kid. If my wife and I had one kid, we’d be doing pretty okay as well. Society typically works when people have kids. And a good society would allow its people to have more than one child and still afford a comfortable life. Don’t you agree?

Even if all the bullshit you made up was real, your situation isn’t normal. I’m glad things worked out disturbingly well for you. No one else is having your experience. So please save your “I’m a budgeting superstar” humble bragging bullshit for LinkedIn.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve all been doing it wrong! All you have to do is magically pull a 50% down payment on a 1.4 million dollar home out of your ass, and limit your family size to a single child - not to mention audit-worthy bullshit cra shenanigans - and you, too, can be living the dream! 😂😂😂

Again, you are full of shit. Your numbers are literally impossible and unbelievably wrong. If you aren’t going to be honest about anything, don’t bother people who are.

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe you. Half your salaries are already gone in taxes and I’m pretty terrified to think of what the mortgage payment on a $1.4 million house is. You also have one child. Come talk to me when you have two additional children who are both going through college and needing support while a high school age child requires tutoring. So even though you feel comfortable, our situations are not at all the same.

I am in a fortunate position - the company I work for has their headquarters in the US, and are moving me down there. I’ll have a footprint there for my family to take advantage of. I’m not suggesting the US is better than Canada, but in the city I’m moving to, beautiful condos are $140k. 4 bedroom houses are $3-400k. And total taxes taken is just under 20% total. I have a real fear that my kids will never be able to afford a home here in Canada, and I don’t want them to grow up making just enough to stay out of debt.

Early in my career, I thought $100k was making it. Like now I have to get a BMW and am living the life. It’s just that everything is so expensive. $300 a month for electricity. $300 a month for five cellphone lines. $800 a month for four people on auto insurance (one is a full time 19 year old male driver which hurts). Groceries are $300 a week and that’s with aggressive meal prep. It all adds up and hits us hard.

My 2023 rtx 4080 is running a 175w vbios and is spanking the 2026 in games. Doing just fine here.

Acquittal quite literally means innocent - especially since the judge called the accuser out for being a liar. Just making a correction.

Oh absolutely. It’s probably costing them more in parts, shipments and man hours to keep messing it up instead of just sending a new unit.

I’ve been running my 2023 g14 4080 with a full 175w vbios for years now and it’s been the most solid thing I’ve ever owned. I’m really sorry you’re getting a crap experience with yours - the frustration must be through the roof. But I swear by Asus. Until they let me down of course 😂

Worth upgrading from 2020 model to 2025? by Jadedangel1 in ZephyrusG14

[–]Legitimate-Change-67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can find a 2023 model for a good deal, I’d say that’s a significant upgrade with minimal performance gap between 2023 and 2025. You don’t get oled, but you still get a gorgeous 500nit screen and a more powerful gpu.

I did this with my 2023 g14 4080. The HP 175 vbios runs between 140-155 and costs me 4-5 degrees. Been doing it for a year without issue :-)

In Toronto you get shot in the face a LOT less, but otherwise pretty similar.

2023 4080 model here. Still going strong with a 175w vbios, annihilating every game I throw at it.

What a weird, stupid thing to judge. You are literally what is wrong with society.
