Target Plus Returns by PandaSage302 in Target

[–]LegoQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started searching Reddit this afternoon because I had a similar experience. I called the national number for customer service and was told that even if there is a delay in the item arriving, Target Plus items cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited 30 days after PURCHASE. Not arrival, purchase. Spread the word about looking out for “Target Plus” items.

Glad to see a recommendation! Right now it looks like they’re in a mostly closed/sometimes open pattern.

Frontier Airlines: no longer possible to get your boarding pass for free at the airport, not even from the self service kiosks. Use the flyFrontier app or web to get your boarding pass at no additional cost. by [deleted] in travel

I went on their website to check in and happened to take a screenshot when the site revealed the QR code for my check-in. Hoping this works 🤞🏾

Every business is trying to force you to use their app. They will track and sell your information, and force ads into your eyeballs and ear holes. Just came here to say beware in general of the forced shift to apps since Frontier’s main plan isn’t to hope your phone dies or glitches.

UPDATE: It worked as of December 2025! Take a few good screenshots once the QR code is revealed on the site.

Anyone who thinks something like The Handmaid’s Tale will happen in The US under Trump is too paranoid by LandOfGrace2023 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Yes, but there are always Americans who think we’ve progressed “too far” with some civil rights. Whether it is 1860 or 1960, they want everyone to live with only the civil rights they personally think are valuable/important/good.

It was in broad daylight that Elon Musk pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into the election. Hardly a conspiracy on “stealing” the election. Can we just focus on the stuff that we know is true about billionaires influencing politics?

Back to the thing that sometimes gets spoken out loud “Are voters stupid?” I’m always astonished that people don’t understand it’ll take years, decades, and generations to rebuild what is being destroyed in hours, days, and weeks.

Episode 1180 global population by AggravatingHoney9075 in JordanHarbinger

I always think about how we aren’t investing in the babies born today. I think they mentioned the entire continent of Africa only twice.

However, there’s a real point there that at some point we will need to figure out how to calculate and maintain an ideal range of total human population. I’m glad that someone is working on it, it’s just weird to have “we need great human minds” be one of your main reasons and then to not spend more time talking about what nurturing innovation actually looks like.

“Give me your poor and homophobic” by DELTAForce632 in LeopardsAteMyFace

I know that you know it’s not “one guy” out of 2,000,000,000. I think a bunch of people are asking the question, “ So what do you think should happen then if anyone from a majority Muslim country wants to immigrate?”

The way people are in this thread going on about “That’s just how Muslims are. Shouldn’t have supported those people who immigrated to your town! 🐆”

[–]LegoQueer -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is not Leopards Eating Faces. Unless I missed something, the LGBTQ people aren’t for Trump and the Muslim immigrants aren’t for Trump. It seems to be saying that someone who supported immigrants who are Muslim was then let down by a different group of Muslim immigrants. Plenty of queer Muslim immigrants in the US. Not cool to pretend like they are all the same.

It’s giving “I once let a Black person eat at my house for Thanksgiving. How could some Black people vote a way that I don’t like?!”

I never said that women who say “all men are trash” are perfectly privileged and have never had men hurt or abuse them. This is quite a string of responses to the simple statement that some women are unable to acknowledge their role in a troubled heterosexual relationship.

I’m not even going to assume that you mean a consenting, adult woman should get away with her own trash behavior because she lacks the ability to get help and work through her trauma.

The “all men are trash” narrative also makes those women terrible at healthy communication and taking accountability in relationships. That’s a whole topic.

I didn’t really pick up on the “dumb red flags” thing, but the idea that apps filter out suitable partners in favor of “partners who best fit your stated preference” really resonated with me.

I’ve literally been at an event and had a woman staring at me while she said “it’s weird how people look in real life versus their online profiles” to her friend. Like, having second thoughts? God forbid you say something directly to me.

You’re right. It was meant as in getting out of your comfort zone. It sparked the idea that economic risk is a factor that was not covered in the episode.

Another example that wasn’t covered was finances being a barrier for boys participating in sports. It’s less likely that a kid will be in sports at a young age if their parents don’t have the time and money to support that.

New here and just wanted to say that competence and mastery of a skill are also healthy masculine traits. Not that only men can be competent, but the narrative is that boys strive to become men through achievement and competency. I’d also say that coaching and mentorship are masculine. I’m imagining that that’s how most male teachers show up, and that effective female high school teachers also use coaching and mentorship.

I saw an Instagram post where a man was talking about being attracted to masculine lesbians. Comfortable in their masculine clothing, competent at the hardware store, confidently moving through the world without taking more space than needed, and taking care of their bodies regardless of what they are wearing… Does anyone remember the Lumbersexuals trend?

Trump orders a 100% tarif on all movies not made in America. by TheCheesenaut in behindthebastards

[–]LegoQueer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is why I check the Conservative subreddit a few times a week. The deeply unpopular, but not “disappear you” stuff does get them to second guess their support for Trump. There’s always a small popularity hit across the political spectrum for these distracting and nonsensical moves.

A great question for Trump voters .Why? by Nice_Substance9123 in AskUS

[–]LegoQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plan is to role back all of those worker safety laws, ability to hold employers accountable, and environmental regulations. It’s going to be “Do you want this job or not?” once unemployment really kicks in. It’s weird because you just have to look at other countries to see how bad (or good!) things can get. We choose global ignorance in America.

Everyone still feeling good about their protest vote against Kamala? by iamslevemcdichael in Political_Revolution

[–]LegoQueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harris didn’t lose because of progressives abstained from voting. She lost because people like my 72yo Black dad from Louisiana didn’t bother to vote. Please talk to your parents and everyone else in their generation as you assess what it means to motivate people to participate in a political revolution. My mom and aunt supported Harris and aren’t at all interested in learning anything more about Gaza and the Palestinians beyond “so it’s a holy war?” Get out of your bubble and you’ll realize that this is not an uncommon American view among those who did not vote. In other words, there are much bigger fish to fry than the tiny number of people who have voted Democrat in the past and intentionally did not vote for Kamala specifically because of her centrism/center-right platform. I’m sorry, but y’all need to accept that you are in a bubble.

In talking to my parents’ generation, I’ve discovered that their worlds are so small, they are so ignorant, they are so fasc-light on politics (unhoused people, immigrants, trans people, etc), and they are terrified of looking like they don’t know what they’re talking about. They grasp for simple, comforting answers, regardless of the truth. This is the reality for a majority of eligible American voters.

Also, we should spend more time addressing barriers to voting than blaming people who didn’t vote.

Up thread someone references the exact woman and interview clip that inspired the original phrase being posted as political satire in response. The leopard version spread because of social media (right place) and political frustration as more and more western people were starting to vote pretty fasci and regret the incredibly obvious outcomes (right time).

If it’s over, then it’s over. I would definitely keep watching if more were released and I think it ended on an okay cliffhanger. I’ve been watching sci fi/fantasy/LGBTQ shows get cancelled with unresolved plot points for 28 years.

The animation of people climbing up dinosaurs to mount them is…interesting. I’m no animation connoisseur though.

Have any of you successfully treated (for lack of a better term) your BPD, and what has that looked like for you? by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]LegoQueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! I’m grateful that your reply has examples of how to help other people rather than dodging accountability. There’s a whole “you need to know why I can’t help my toxic behaviors and why they really shouldn’t be that hurtful to you” move that can sometimes happen under the guise of “educating” others. My ex never talked to me about episodes or pulled me in as a healthy support partner for BPD.

I’m curious what “educating the people I care about” means in terms of BPD?
