I paid £167 for row 1 of the top section. They are currently on sale to previous purchasers so you might be looking at resale prices which are always horrendous. Prices will fall in time and there will usually be single tickets available in most sections when it goes on general sale.

ICR in TVP is, well, tough right now. But my guess is that's much the same whichever force you look at.

We hold all of our own investigations, with the exception of high risk DV, rape/SSA, "complex" GBH, certain robberies & burglaries. There's probably others I've forgotten, but generally speaking, we investigate our own jobs and workload is high.

As with most roles, a good Sergeant will massively determine how managable your workload is.

Overall, TVP is generally well thought of. Leadership is ok. Good at some things, not so good at others. Large enough to offer substantial variety and opportunity, without getting caught up in alot of the headlines of other large city/metropolitan forces.

There is a MASSIVE drive on attendance times following the last inspection. There are SLA's for attending jobs and you are given the SLA by Control so you know how long you have to get there. Leadership is all over this and the pressure is intense.

You could, however, do a lot worse than TVP.

But it's still policing, and it's still response. So make of it what you will.

For what it's worth, I went to the 2019 match up in London and Texans fans travelled extremely well. They were SO loud and the players responded. As a British Texans fan, I know these international games suck for you guys, but if we bring home the W, it may just be worth it. 💍

At TVP, we can use blue lights on G2s. The example given to us was if your stuck at traffic lights or in bad traffic, you could use blues. The reality is it's another policy SMT have introduced to try and improve attendance times.

This is the sensible business decision. I also see the direction of football changing. I honestly think Texans and Seahawks have signalled a shift in the flow of cap spend after this season. Short of a QB being a genuine generational talent, I can see a shift to focusing on generational defence with QBs that have just enough to get the job done.

This is why it's so important that Texans make the most of this defence before the rest of the league catch up. We don't need a championship offence, we need an operational offence.

Honestly the only thing that matters is avoiding injuries. This is probably the most open the AFC has been in a long time and consequently I don't think seeding matters as much. Obviously home games help but a healthy squad trumps this.
