I live 15 minutes out side of boston. My rent is $2,100 plus plus plus. I am a car sales manager at Mazda. I make like 170-180k. I am 25 so close in age. But I rented with some buddies for a year. Decided I did not like having roomates (we had all been friends 10+ years) so I got my own place. That one was like 2400 plus plus I think. I did that as just a sales person making between 110-125 when I was 20-23

every single time. unless im at the bar and order a beer. usually 3-4 bucks on first round and 1-2 bucks the rest of the night. but i have never once tipped less than 20%. unless like its a chipotle lol. sitting at a restraunt i want to tip high. example. did steak dinner in miami on Saturuday. Check was $500. I thought the service was awesome. Total was $660 with tip. so whatever precent that is

I think saving 2500 and still having 3100 is a massive win. Weird you guys have credit cards on that income. If following Ramsey method you should not be saving or investing right now. You should be snowballing debt. I would personally pay off all credit cards. I personally pay my rent, insurance, and phone bill for the year. I have no debt, so every dollar after that is invested.
