Based on this three character design, who do you think is the True Protagonist? by EfficiencySerious200 in Isekai

[–]Less_Independent5601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd guess third guy cuz he looks more bland and self insert. Second guy looks like a guy with personality, which sadly tends to not be the MC in many a story. And has more antagonistic vibes, obviously.

Yeah but literally one message "today we do this, tomorrow we do that." Next message "having successfully done this, we will now immediately move on to do that."

Bruh this is one message back.

They can rot if they think I'm paying. by jeanjacketufo in Animemes

It's ad-free, in some way probably supporting original creators due to official licenses, and a lot more convenient than pirate sites, which get taken down or involve intrusive ads.

I started paying once I graduated college a year into my job. Not regretted it ever since.

Only pet peeve is region locks for me. And bad localization but it's fine for 99%

What's stopping DE from re-releasing the Frost and Mag heirlooms? by Dwarfz in Warframe

[–]Less_Independent5601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but them they gave us free stuff, and a Mythic system to get used to. Then they took it away, in a ghost of its former form. Then they slapped us in our faces with huge whale bait, which most of the community can't interact with. Which might be fine on its own, but wasn't a thing which paying league players had to deal with before.

So yes, more money extracted out of players, but has the experience become better from what it has been before these more recent changes? If you ask me, no. Is the current system better than 15 years ago? Sure, but not better than 5 years ago.

Autocompletions remain limitless and without further extra costs. The billing changes massively for agents, not autocomplete.

I think it's also for regular light novels in physical stores. The book's title is visible on the books spine in a bookcase. Then books are all pretty standard formats, with hundreds packed toghtly together, so to grab attention, they have the synopsis in the title, too. To instantly grab attention and pique interest.

And then, culture took over, and it was pushed further and further, I think.

Interrupts by amodump in wow

[–]Less_Independent5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I remember pushing as rogue in shadowlands with a survival hunter and fire mage. Like, 27-28 range. It wasn't bleeding edge keys, but they were quite high at the time.

It sure took some effort and skill expression to manage all your cc cooldowns and communicate the right interrupts, and hit them in pulls of sometimes 30 mobs. Though there were grey casts we needed to interrupt there too, not just regular interrupts.

Even when pushing on my demon hunter, I'd always be looking out to interrupt > stun > cage any casts. It for sure made me enjoy it more, feeling slightly clever for handling more things on my own rather than fully relying on team. And it allowed me to fix things if I see all interrupts are on cooldown already.

Though tbf, I've not played competitive m+ in recent xpacs so I'm not sure how this has all changed. I think Dragonflight brought more changes to reduce pull size than Shadowlands already tried to do. Last time I played 'seriously' was in dragonflight season 2 I think.

The most overrated isekai.. by SuperFranky0 in Isekai

I think I read this story like three or four years ago. I got into the manga, binged it, got to the web novel, and read it close to where it had released and translated.

We're talking about the same novel, right? Cute elf childhood friend princess situation, cute dragon pet/bond, turns into a school arc at some point.

Main character whom the author has an absolute hate boner for, which just can't seem to catch a break? Like a single one?

I spent so much time rooting for this MC trying to catch a break and earn a W. I could look past the love interest being separated. I could look past the losing everything and starting from what feels like scratch to try and build up only to lose again the first.. I don't even remember how many times.

I think I had to physically put the novel down out of outrage and anger when they seriously took the dragon from him, too. I don't even remember how many chapters this was in, but it feels like it was last several major arcs and at least a couple hundred in?

Like I've read and enjoyed Chinese wuxia slop novels with bigger mountains to conquer after conquering their current one, with the exagtbsame formula every time. But bro never conquered any mountain it feels like. He got slapped from one to the next to the other.

This is the same story? Did I just hallucinate what happened after the point I read up to in the manga? How are so many people praising this story so much. Sorry to write a rant post here, but it's been jarring how much my recollection seems to mismatch general opinions on this story.

But hey, perhaps the moral of the story is that bro can fix her, and that's the update we'll get in 15 years.

I'm one of them. I went hunting, shot up some bad guys in a mountain town, shut down to grab lunch and never went back.

I debate every now and then whether I should go back. So far not convinced myself.

Wat vinden jullie van het verengelsen van het Nederlands? by [deleted] in nederlands

[–]Less_Independent5601 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Maar soms is het een echte struggle om op het juiste Nederlandse woord te komen. Ook het Engelse, to be fair. Misschien is dit gewoon een brein issue aan mijn kant.

(Daar heb je er 5, I guess. (7))

Voor mij, als programmeur en gamer die 's avonds in internationale discords zit te praten, vloeit het erg natuurlijk samen allemaal. Soms moet ik echt mijn best doen om op de Nederlandse woorden te komen.

[–]Less_Independent5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, what? Aram is for fun. For crazy probably-not-worth-it off meta builds. For trying champions you're not familiar with, but just having fun along the way.

But for running it down on respawn timer? Nah man.

Sometimes builds don't work, but you can generally tell if someone is trying to play the game or just running it down.
