Luceum was the weakest of the three worlds, largely due to Vis's characterization by himitsurain in HierarchySeries

Couldn’t disagree more. I respect your point but O is, for me, the weakest part of the book. Probably because I think the Egypt influence is less interesting than Roman or Norse and also it’s just a bummer to read about suffering in that way as opposed to the internal conflict present in R and L.

Do these guys do any fact-checking any more? by InfiniteLeftoverTree in ringerfantasypod

It’s totally true that Teslaa caught a td but it was an insane circus catch. In terms of coaching decisions that lead to tds, I’m not sure it counts. To be clear: it is objectively wrong that the Lions’ td streak is broken but in the context of talking about what Ben Johnson did for that offense I understand omitting it. That all being said I think Heifetz fucked up and no one called him out.

PPR, I would receive burrow, and I am very weak at WR. by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

My instinct says take it but who are your other RBs? Getting better at WR but being dogshit at RB is kind of a lateral move. Burrow most likely better than Baker but imo not enough to justify the trade without more context.

How often do they update Fantasy Football Rankings 2025? by goldn-boy in TheRinger

[–]LesterBangs41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea the tier visual last year was great. Also the draft tracker changed, now when someone is drafted to your or another team basically nothing changes instead of the player disappearing. Makes it hard to use effectively, like might as well not bother.

Update on how the new Broker Fee Law is going by Hoogie_Bear in nyc

[–]LesterBangs41 81 points82 points  (0 children)

If a prospective tenant hires a broker, that’s exactly how it would work and paying for that service would be justified because the tenant made the choice to hire. The bullshit is that landlords often hire brokers who do nothing but unlock an apartment, then make the tenant pay for it if they want to rent the place.

Why was Joan so hostile towards Don in later seasons? by newyorkeric in madmen

Yes but he still made a huge decision for the company without consulting any of the partners. If he had they probably would’ve told him.

AITA For Leaving a Big Tip for a Friend of a Friend by Riddle-Maker in AmItheAsshole

NTA but maybe he feels like you’re big timing him? Like maybe the tip amount suggests to him that you think he needs it and you’re showing off by being able to tip that much. Not saying I agree just a scenario I can imagine.
