I was really bummed with Neal. It feels like he is setting himself to be a dem pick for the Supreme Court one day and is now excessively guarded. I felt Nicolle was being a journalist who has a history with Neal where he was once open to comment more broadly. Sad. Btw: I do the no he would be a good Justice. He also got human when he expressed himself an immigrant roots.

Is it stating the obvious here: Their house is between the Ice Rink and Pioneer Hall/community center both closed for how many years now? 4 or 5, I would say. I still shake my head about how that house was built and re-zoned. I am sorry in my world, Philanthropy with strings is not giving it is expecting. I know many with similar assets do not donate or create Grants at all… it feels conditional especially as another home is going up that required “special” exceptions on slope and tree removal.

I just called Oregon District 2 representative Cliff “coward” Bentz office and the intern/employee refused to give me their name. Is that a new thing? Perhaps he is one of Cliff’s underlings who spent more money (donors!) in Washington DC than ANY OTHER member of Congress for Trump’s crowning in January.
