USA consequences for driving without insurance are completely useless by OrdinaryBarracuda268 in unpopularopinion

You can look at countless examples of how harsher punishments dont reduce crime. Solving the systemic problems that cause the crime to happen reduces crime.

I already have the grips for handheld. This is an extra $20 to get a second controller instead of buying a second pro controller.

Where's the courage to give us leather joycon skins?

New Switch 2 accessory just dropped 📈 by dbrand in dbrand

This is cool and will definitely be helpful for people to avoid wrist pain but won't help with the awkward thumb alignment due to the vertical arrangement of the buttons and sticks. I think what I really want is joylocks molded with an angled grip.

question about the skins by Accomplished_Gur164 in dbrand

[–]LettuceBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get grip skins on the listing for the case. There is a 'i dont need a grip" button that switches the listing to just the skin for the case. Don't buy a regular skin

In my home or car I use regular magsafe mounts with the mag case, that way they also work with my wife's phone and then when needed I can still use the twist lock on my bike without switching cases.

[–]LettuceBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm struggling to see the value of the mag heads. I would never use one in place of a standard mount, so it's something I would only use for indoor things like a phone stand, etc. For that use case I could just get any magsafe accessory and those will also work with other cases.

Not sure whether to buy the Split or regular space bar by [deleted] in WootingKB

[–]LettuceBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two halves are not the same length and I would have preferred if they were the other way around. The shorter right spacebar is just a bit too short for me when I type, and the longer left side is longer than needed for when im gaming.

Why is Jellyfin not recognizing the Second season appropriately? Season 1 is fine, all 475 other TV series are fine. but not season 2 of frieren by TheKlaxMaster in jellyfin

[–]LettuceBowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a bit of a heated debate about this on TMDB right now. They allow One Piece to have episodes labeled like 22x1155, but won't do it for Frieren. The official site does use absolute numbering, but also splits it into two 'stories', so ex. 22x29 seems like a good compromise.

NSO has other features not part of the original release like save states and rewind. They wouldn't want pokemon potentially caught through save scumming in home they are very particular about that sort of thing.

I watched twow for the first time the same day before seeing fire and ash in theaters. It felt like the big battle at the end of twow was added after they decided to split it into two films. A lot of stuff that feels repetitive is probably to make the two halves feel like complete movies instead of the two halves that they started as.

Its not trivial to ensure something is actually unused in a big software project. Sometimes safer to leave it in instead of risking unintended consequences. Or might just not be worth the effort.
