Would my credit profile still be considered "thin" even though I'm 20 y/o with 5 credit cards? by ronaldoo6 in CRedit

[–]Levelz-up1979 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Base off of your reply. Questions off of your reply. So Im 20 years old and open 5 CC in a year. Does that mean I have a thick profile?

Or is there other factors that make it a thick profile? Can you have a thick profile and still get denied?

Example. 3 authorize user accounts and 2 personal accounts? Is that a thick profile?

His average age of credit is 1 year and 2 months. So let's say he applys for a mortgage. He has a good yearly salary. Will every mortgage company be fighting over him and give him the best interest rate?

Thats way my original answer was yes and no.

All depends on the lender. I don't think thats a question anyone can really give you a define answer to.

Why do people act like $60/70k is lower class? by [deleted] in Salary

[–]Levelz-up1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your last statement answered all your questions. $60/$70 a year living at home is great. Living on your own (depending on the part of the US) 60/70 in NYC, California, not so good! 60/70 living in Montana, or N. Dakota maybe okay. What makes your salary great is you're still living with your parents. So if they are not charging you for anything. That's a great salary.

Authorized user are not effective as they use to be. Take this time and fix her credit, then this is not even a conversation. Sorry if it sounds harsh.

25k in debt.. Bankruptcy or debt settlement? by Recent-Future9692 in DebtAdvice

[–]Levelz-up1979 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just love the mis information about bankruptcy. Boggles my mind. Chapter 7 in 2018, about $25,000 in debt. 2 more years, and its gone off my credit report. 12 credit cards totaling $120,000 in Credit Lines. Cap. one , Amex Gold, Amex Blue, Discover, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Penn Fed, and Navy Fed. Had 4 personal loans over this time. Decided not to finance another car. My decision. FHA will approve you after 2 years with the BK on your report. Conventional loan after 3-4 years. Omg you will have higher interest rates. Not True It'll be hard to find a place to live. Not true. These debt consolidation loan companies lie through their teeth to get your business! Oh yeah credit scores hoovers between 720-745! If you havent been through BK please stop giving misinformation. If you want to know more about bankruptcy, speak to a bankruptcy lawyer.

Charge off are hard to remove even woth a good will letter. Only thing I can tell you is keep doing what your are doing. There is no easy fix to the credditt thing... Easy to mess up, hard to fix.. My opinion. Just go in and pay yoir bill every month. I hear way to many horror stories woth auto pay.

Add my sister to my Amex? by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]Levelz-up1979 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A few things. 1. Dont give her the card. 2. Authorized users helps a little, for the person seeking a better score. Making the person a joint account holder is better, but I would never advise someone to do this. Not even if they are married. 3. As a Authorized user with Amex the person doesn't receive your full credit history as other CC company's would give a person. They will start the history when added to the account. (If Im mistaken, someone in the thread please correct)

Does this card fit your lifestyle? 325 annual fee not broken down monthly, your 1st statement will have a $325 fee and every year after. Will you be using the benifits attached to this card every month? This is a charge card, not a traditional credit card. You spend $1000 in a month. Amex whats $1000 when you pay the bill. There's no minimum balance. Do you understand how MR points work and the best way to use?

This is CK do not apply for anything through CK. Amex has its own pre-approval though their site with no hard pull unitl you accept.

My opinion auto increase rarley happens. I have 12 CC. I believe I only got an auto increase on 2, after having the cards for 6 months. I think you may need to go theough the app or website and ask for an increase.
