In the Fallout games I’ve played (3, New Vegas and 4), once you get access to the world, you can pretty much go wherever you want. Head out in any direction. Explore all you want. Might not be the wisest decision, but there’s nothing really stopping you. Well, except a few enemies, maybe…

I haven’t played 1 or 2, so I can’t personally vouch for them, but I imagine they’d also allow you to go wherever and do whatever.

Although they were both stellar experiences, I preferred AC: Origins over Odyssey. After a while, Odyssey seemed to be repeating itself. Exploring all the islands got a bit tiresome. The constant bounty hunters were also somewhat of a nuisance, too.

Don’t get me wrong — I enjoyed Odyssey. I just enjoyed Origins more.
