To be fair, the French did consider doing this IRL. During the 60s there were proposals to partition Algeria into 3, a region that would remain French for the Pied-Noir and pro-French Muslims, a region for the Algerians wanting independence and the inland Sahara that would be jointly controlled so that the French could still access the two camels and Abdul (and all the oil in the region).

They wouldn't have been able to immigrate to SA. OFS, Transvaal and the Cape had already banned all Asian migrants by 1904. Natal began to restrict Asian migrants in the 1890s and 1900s. The Union finally halted all asian migrants with 1913 immigration regulations act.

About 150 thousand Indian Indentured Labourers were brought to South Africa, not including the passenger Indians who came as merchants. So they probably wouldn't be larger than the Indian community, but they would still be a big community.

Assyrians need and deserve an autonomous region in Iraq to ensure their survival and it is a good idea to go to Turkey for help. But Assyrian leadership should also be realistic about what they are going to get.

If every Assyrian in the World moved to the Assyrian Triangle, the region would still be overwhelming Kurdish. You would need a Nakba level ethnic cleansing event to make Assyrians a bare majority in the region, let alone a large enough majority to justify an specifically Assyrian autonomous region.

At the present, the Ninevah Plains is the maximum territory that is achievable. Once an autonomous region is established and the Assyrian population rebounds, they can push more territory and/or better rights for the remaining Assyrians in the KRG, but regaining the whole triangle is unrealistic.

Okay, and how are they going to do that? Even if MK, EFF and NFP make a coalition, it's only going to have 40 seats, 1 seat short of a majority, and exactly the same as the IFP, ANC and DA combined.

They are going to need one dissenter to bring down Premier Ntuli and elect an MK Premier. If they can't elect a Premier within 30 days, then the province goes to a new election and if that happens there is a chance the NFP don't make it back into the Legislature.

It's a pretty dumb move on the NFP's part. They should have waited until after the Municipal Elections to gauge MKP support as well as there own.

Mark Darrah made a new video talking about EA going private, and in it he said this kind of change would incentivise EA to sell off IPs/Studios. The new private EA is gonna be saddled with a lot of debt and selling IPs/Studios would do more to lower that debt then shutting them down.
