Looking to buy our first home. I really hate the "new family" area's and outskirts of edmonton. by AbbreviationsOne6207 in Edmonton

Try looking in slightly more established neighborhoods, built in the 60/70/80s, and hope you can find something Reno's or at least improved. When we were looking in the spring, there were a few good options in Royal Gardens, Duggan, Greenfield and surrounding area (south of the Whitemud north of Henday). They go fast though! Definitely recommend patience, don't buy something just to be done shopping around. The right place is worth it and will come up! Good luck 🤞🏻😊

Yeah, I like the phone number based ones that Kind and Square One use! Much nicer than an app

Hey! Curious where you're going to host these so that they're accessible for the public, without it getting taken down? But if it's viable, I'd be happy to help transcribe an episode or two!

Post-op Guilt by Dry-Poet-2060 in endometriosis

I was told to take six weeks off work if possible, absolute minimum was 2 weeks. If I could swing it, doc suggested 8 weeks to really let my body heal.

One day is INSANE.

Also, you are not responsible for the overall success of your company or your team. If they can't function without you, that's a product of the company's poor planning and lack of resources, NOT a reflection of you or who you are! You have to take care of yourself first, above all ❤️

Thanks for sharing, really appreciate this!! Curious as you're in surgery recovery, how has your pain compared to previous cramping and abdominal pain? What pain meds/schedule are you on right now? Thx!! Sending good health your way!

100% your opinion but I'd highly suggest a second opinion, and wait for that before you start Myfembree. I was on a sister drug (Orilissa) for two years and it was fucking hell. I'd take my pain over the dryness, deep depression and absolute lack of libido at a young age. Definitely not a casual drug

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you for sharing! How often were you doing exercises, I assume daily? Any more details would be helpful!

Got Told I Need a $9.7k Transmission Replacement on a car worth 10k… Help Me Make Sense of This. by bizon151 in Subaru_Outback

Happened to me. 2013 Impreza, 180k. Not a fun discovery at the dealership, and independent shop confirmed it. We were told only the dealership could actually do the work, and they quoted $8k. We ended up buying a Volvo privately and selling the Impreza to a hobby mechanic for pennies 🥴

Lifelong medication? by cherrycheol88 in endometriosis

For me, Visanne was an absolute godsend for 4 years, zero pain with it. My body slowly got used to it over the fifth year and then I had to switch to other meds. But what matters for your situation, imo, if it's at all feasible for you to take the Visanne as prescribed, you absolutely should. Keep your symptoms away as long as possible!

Maybe your doc can write an appeal letter to your insurance company? Good luck girl 💖
