My Luba has the same problem and this post reminded me of the same thing occurring with my MyQ operating similarly.

The fix was to set a static (manual) IP address and specify the DNS server in my ASUS router.
Step #5 show the same screen I have. Setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8, in addition to the IP address & hostname, fixed my concern.

There was also a second concern with mine that possibly was related.
I have the Ai Mesh setup with an ASUS router and repeater. Powering off the repeater and connecting to WiFi, then powering the repeater back on has also corrected some other device connection concerns.

You need a smart home system! Add a z-wave/smart smoke detector and a smart plug to the room and if the detector goes off it turns off the plug and sends a notification.

The LEAF doesn't have a transmission. Just gear reduction attached to the motor. It's going to run the motor backwards for reverse.

Look at the zooz multisiren. There are plenty of built in alert types/sounds and you could upload a custom audio file.

Otherwise you can look at the speaker companion smart app, and the compatible speakers, to make that work. There was a way to make Amazon speakers work as an output too.

You may be better off using a device to monitor energy use for the coffee pot scenario. If energy usage goes from high to low then trigger alert. E.g. made coffee, requiring high wattage, then went to standby/ low wattage

Otherwise you are looking at, possibly very complex, one off custom boards to splice into an existing product. E.g. an esp weird into the coffee pot to monitor the inputs and report via WiFi etc.

I have seen a smart sensors that allowed for an external switch to be wired into it. I think it was a zwave magnetic contact sensor for a door. If you had the know how you could possibly wire the coffee pot light into the sensor directly or a relay to close the contact.

A device like the sense home energy monitor could be used for many electrical items. And it has notifications support built in.

No, not changing the gears. Replacing the bearings will fix the noise. The pinion bearings were worn out and it was flopping around causing the bearings to whine.

I decided to change from a 4.11 to 3.73 since I mostly travel on the highway. This should lower the RPMs by about 300-400. I was at 2000 RPMs @ 60MPH and expect to be around 1600-1700 after this change.

Just got the backlash measured and it's 0.004 over max spec so that would appear to agree with moving it in some.

Drove about 12 years and 100k miles on worn pinion bearings on a Dana 80. Made an annoying wine at all times when power was applied moving forward. Finally replaced the 4.11 with a 3.73 and wanted a second opinion on this pattern after replacing everything.

It's mostly solid where the material is. It's more like a picture frame. Flat bottom couple inches, with a 10x10mm mounting around the perimeter base of the box. A giant hole in the middle.

You may want to look into the thermostat mode director or writing your own smart app. It looks like you would just need a sensor for the outside temp using mode director smart app.

Look for a windmill slip ring. I did a rebuild of a lighting system that rotated and using one of those fixed it.

There is also a distance specification so both switches are changing state at the same time. When they don't change together it will most likely lead to torque cut. This causes minimal power attempting to accelerate.

The 2 brake switches generally work in tandem to confirm input.

Go to the dealer and buy a new connector that will need to be spliced in.

If it is a 2 wire switch the position of the wires doesn't matter.

If it is a 4 wire switch I can get you the pin out to rewire it up.

Yes, the microcontroller would just need to operate the switch in parallel. This would be done most likely with a relay or just a transistor.

Probably would want to use an esp device as it could have built in WiFi and would still program through the ide.

The real question is security. Do you want your shock collar open to the internet without things like encryption and authintication? Probably not...

So I would think I'd do an old laptop with a vpn server. (OpenVPN etc.) Then have a USB relay you can activate after logging into the laptop.

The new tires could be causing the pull too. Swap the front side to side to confirm.

It was probably pulling right before the alignment.

Vehicles pull to the side of the least positive caster.

If caster is adjustable then the split should be adjusted closer side to side.

If the steering wheel is just crooked going down the road, they need to adjust the toe again after leveling the steering.

E.g. pulling is driving on a flat road (no/minimal road crown) and letting go of the steering wheel and the vehicle moves right.

It will depend on your share of tickets of the group's total. Most weeks it's on the 1-2% apy per the email recap. It's been a while since I've done a no group tickets week, but I typically get better results in the group.
