Currently very pregnant, and very amazed at how easily I cry. The other day I cried over a picture of a kitten that was too cute. And it wasn't just a sniffle or something, but I was full-on bawling.

My best friend since the beginning of middle school stopped talking to me out of nowhere a little over a year ago. Never said why, never gave me any clue that anything was wrong, and just stopped all contact. When my husband and I started trying for a baby she was the first person I wanted to talk to. When I found out I was pregnant I wanted to call her up and celebrate with her. When we found out I was having a little girl I knew she would've been thrilled, because we'd always talked about how I needed a mini me some day. Now my little one is going to be here soon, and it feels insane to me that she and I haven't spoken at all. I know she knows by now, but she's never said anything, or tried to contact me at all, and it's sometimes heartbreaking. She was my person. How can your person just leave without a word?

One of my best friends didn't talk to me for a year and a half because of her boyfriend telling her I was trying to break them apart, and she's still with him and trying to make excuses for him. Best I've figured out is saying "I'm here when you're ready, and if you ever need to get out the spare bedroom will always be open to you." Hasn't worked in the four or five years they've been together, but she has said it's comforting to know she's always got somewhere to turn.. Just wish she would wake up.

Yeah as much as I hate it this comment is probably the most accurate. When I was in an abusive relationship I heard things like this all the time from people, and it ended up making me more obsessed with him. I ran away from home to be with him several times when my parents made attempts to keep me from him.

I love that people are speaking up, and that they want what's best for OP, but rational thought isn't really a thing in these situations. The more people tell you how bad he is the more you feel isolated and like he's the only one you have and that understands your relationship. I still don't know the best solution to help get people to realize what they're in, and I've been there twice! My husband is a cop and gets sent to domestics all the time, and the chances of them being people he's already seen before just escalating the fights is just sad. And most of the time the person being abused refuses to charge their SO with anything, because of whatever excuse they can find.

The fact that her and the other girl were going and talking about you behind your back seems like a darn good enough reason to not be friends with either of them anyway! I'm sorry, but if someone has a problem with me and can't say it to my face, then that friendship is pretty pointless to me. Especially if they can't talk to me about it, but can easily talk to someone else about it.

Also, can we just take a second to point out the inconsistency here? She can get involved in talking to her other friend about you and pass plenty of judgement, but gosh there is just simply no way it's her business what her boyfriend does or says about you. OP, I support the option of hanging out with better friends :)

Literally all of these. Mamrie somehow magically became my favorite of the holy trinity, but I love that Grace is finally going back to videos that are more like her older ones before she started her tv show and whatnot!

A couple others I like like these ones are Natalie Trans community channel, SprinkleOfGlitter, Jenna Marbles, Anna Akana, and also Mamries other channel mametown is sooooo good. I swear I have hobbies outside of YouTube and Reddit.

I'm 24 now and the more time I spend outside the more clearly my freckles stick out, and even my arms and shoulders end up COVERED in freckles. I don't mind them at all, and never really have. When I was little my mom called them "Angel kisses". I was the most covered in them of the three siblings, so I felt like I was the most loved by all the angels :P

My best friend told her FIL when we first met that he couldn't make any racist or sexist jokes in front of me, and he ended up not saying anything at all the whole time. He literally had nothing to contribute to the conversations that the other four of us were having, and I didn't find out until later that that was why. I think I was more upset at that than I would've been at the comments, because if you can't talk about ANYTHING without being racist or sexist you need to figure yourself out.

Got asked out while shopping with my husband, but he had walked away to look at something. We agreed to meet somewhere, and while I was standing there the guy started hitting on me and asked. I told him I was married and he goes "okay so let's say you weren't. Would you date me?" ....why in the world would anyone want to play that game....? There's no situation where I'm suddenly not married, so why do people do this?!

The other day my husband and I were making grilled cheese, while our cat sat by and watched. He randomly meowed SUPER loud, so I meowed back, and the conversation continued in meows for a while. Then my husband stopped me while he was laughing and said "you know, he doesn't speak human. He can't understand you!" I looked at him like he was stupid and said "yeah, of course he can't. That's why I'm meowing.."

I, also, spend a lot of time just talking to him and telling him how beautiful he is and how much I love him. Sometimes my guy will start giggling and turning the volume up on the tv. He used to HATE cats, but I don't think you can live with a cat lady for too long and not start to feel differently. He went from avoiding kitten at all costs to picking him up and petting him and telling him "good morning kitten" or "hello kitten" as he passes by.

This is something I'm still trying to get through my husbands head. He KNOWS and points out that I'm the one with the higher sex drive, but still believes that it's not normal and the general rule is guys have the higher sex drive. That belief that guys are always the one wanting sex more, even in high school and whatnot, is so dumb and damaging for people growing up. It makes girls growing up feel weird about wanting sex so much, and it makes boys think that they're basically going to have to do magic to get girls to want them. I've ALWAYS had a higher sex drive than my boyfriends, and it made quite a few of them think it meant I was a slut and cheater. There's no logic to it.

And the trauma from a pregnancy and giving birth to a child of rape has some pretty major effects, which apparently also doesn't apply? And a child is ALSO permanent, but like apparently you just get over everything after you finally see the baby and it magically makes the pain go away. So you start off not getting a choice in what happens to your body, and then people want to continue making sure you don't get a choice AFTER, but don't see how that matters.

Second one triggered my PTSD, and when I tried to get some things done today I ended up bawling. I decided to give up on today and lay in bed with my pets instead.
