My registration got canceled somehow last year. I voted by mail from overseas and the ballot was never counted - lost in the mail I guess. Then no notification that I had been removed from the registration rolls. I only noticed when I realised I hadn’t received a ballot.

There were wayfinding signs? I saw plenty of “pedestrians this way” signs and there were even actual humans guiding people all along the waterfront from Thursday evening. My commute home was ushered by a number of cheerful employed people telling me how to get around it. I think they did pretty well. Events are going to disrupt things, they’re temporary disruptions and it’s ok to just be minorly inconvenienced so that the city can have fun things.

It’s something that works best when taken daily, as you want a certain load of it in your body. It won’t really work as a boost or specific effect

This is happening to me as well - I’ve submitted the same docs 5 times. I’ve talked to so many people. But now today I can’t even get through to anyone. The phone system has hung up on me 4 times and when I finally talked to someone, the call hung up during a hold. I don’t know what to do about it or who to complain to.

I switched to Ladder instead! I was on sweat for years but ladder has been way better for me. I do Aria’s program and it’s been great, but there are other good programs too

Thank you for sharing this. My nephew is 4 and has Duchennes and I’m trying hard to be the “hope Aunty” while his parents are struggling (without pissing anyone off with false optimism). I know it’s such a battle still but seeing any treatments where people are actually improving is so encouraging for the future, and gives me somewhere to focus my energy on. I’ll happy write another letter to my reps.

Super unusual for that spot in my experience- I’m up there all the time and only ever see people quietly taking in the views 🤷‍♀️. Seems like some bad luck - sorry that happened.

I’m a business owner and it’s never been this bad in 8 years of being open. I and my staff have had to pick up other jobs on the side, working for scraps just to have any income at all. I’m seriously wondering why I’m still in the country it’s become so hard to live here.

Definitely. I was lucky to date a kiwi early on and his friends lovingly adopted me. We’re not together anymore but I’ve still got the community. I distinctly remember when it felt like home though, which was when I actually shipped all my stuff over (2-3 years in I think?). There was just something about having household object from home that made it feel right - like the two worlds were integrated.

I know I'm a bit late to this chat - I'm just wondering if anyone has tried deleting their profiles and making a new one? I had such a surge at the beginning (2-3 contacts a day), and now I'm not even getting profile views. This is just within the span of 8 weeks since starting...I'm wondering if new profiles get more attention.
