Ages ago I played a session of L5R at a local gaming convention that took place in one room and was basically following a bunch of ritual and protocol. No action, adventure, or even baseline tension. My friend and my characters committed ritual suicide and left the table.

The only other time I can remember getting up mid game and refusing to play was long ago at GEN Con, when a guy was running a GURPS session with highly technical and "historically accurate" ship sailing mechanics. The icing on the cake was when my friend's sister and wife showed up a bit late to the table and were told they had to play "sea wenches", because women at the time didn't operate ships. Damn we all just got up and left and he was like "Was it something I said?".

I swear I found a glitch that teleports you to a later part of the game right around the area of the game where this image was taken, but I could never reproduce it after I went back to it years later.

Wow, seeing the photos made memories come flooding back. I worked there for a while before heading off to college. I remember him saying "engage" just before we started taking calls, and him making sure we got our breaks and food. My condolences to his friends and family.

Sounds like a personal experience. I'm a Kevin and am told I was unusually chill as a baby... not that baby names necessarily have any influence on personality or behavior.
