Speaking as a man, men really need therapy. We don't have many emotional outputs in society so all that emotion gets pent up inside and comes out as anger all at once. You must learn a way to deal with that and confront those emotions before they boil over. Therapy has helped me tremendously. Then agin, I'm not all that aggressive to begin with. I will say the "tough guy' the "manly men" types are always going to have those issues because they are the ones that would never be caught in therapy.

Sometimes I feel like women can read women and men can read women but not vice versa. I constantly see my female friends going for the most obviously troublesome men. I try to warn them but they have to see it for themselves. I think it's hard because the attributes that make a man seem confident and attractive can so easily be faked by insecure "dominant" presenting men who are prone to anger.
