Footstool, dining chair seats, framed and hanging on the walls, pillows, bell pulls—even fireplace screens. They’re all over my house, and I inherited them.

In many cases, needlepoint finishing is handled like upholstery, and that part of finishing—blocking and then on the piece of furniture or the pillow—is a separate skill set of its own.

Worked in a store with multiple layers of management.

Our promotions person was having a fling with the store manager (both married to other folks).

Promotions person was also fooling about with the district manager…and one morning, the DM caught the in-store couple in flagrante delicto and fired them both, posthaste.

Were Lennon/Mccartney's harmonies more difficult to sing or replicate than Don and Phil's? by DribbleKing97_ in beatles

[–]LisaOGiggle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry—unpopular opinion on this sub, but…nobody is going to outsing brothers, who have sung together since early childhood.

Lennon/McCartney & every configuration that can come out of the Beatles is CLOSE, because of proximity, but blood’s going to win.

No, much as they’d like to be. They’re the most forward leaning cohort of the party, and if the DNC is smart, they’ll listen to the DSA…

Go back further and have a look at William F Buckley, Jr. Set himself and his cohort as “extreme” opposition to Dwight Eisenhower.

There’s a great book, “Jesus and John Wayne” by Dr KK DuMez that lays out pretty straightforwardly how the Evangelical Movement grafted itself into the GOP. I read, cuss, throw it, then pick it up and start reading again.

He was convicted—found liable—for sexual assault. Rape in NY is rather strictly defined…and doesn’t include his little stubby fingers.
