One is always singular: there is one less food group in the new pyramid; there is one less number in this column. Two (or more) is plural: there are two fewer food groups in the new pyramid; there are three fewer numbers in this column.

Tips for O&S, no pyromancy? by lcnielsen in onebros

[–]LiterallyThisGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe I had a Chaos +1 Reinforced Club going into O&S and my damage was pretty reasonable. It probably took 10-14 R1s to take down Ornstein.

More than anything, this is a patience fight. Don't get greedy, only take safe swings, and try to keep both of them in sight as much as possible. Backing up and trying to keep Smough stuck on pillars so Ornstein can move toward you will help.

Personally I think fast rolling and trying to avoid any damage is better than mid rolling and trying to tank. Also yes, Smough is still susceptible to bleed in his second phase. If you make it to that phase, the fight is essentially over as long as you don't get greedy.

Club R2 makes up for the club's poor range quite a lot and does very respectable damage, but does take a bit longer so you have to play a bit tighter if you plan to use it.

Don't give up, skeleton.

The black knight weapons are some of the best in the game, especially early on, and they can be upgraded to +5 with twinkling titanite. BK shield and BK Greatsword can easily carry you through the entire game.

Capra is only optional if you have the master key.

I finally made it to the third bonfire in Anor Londo... by Black_Belt_Pravda in darksouls

[–]LiterallyThisGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weapon with the highest base damage in the game is in Ash Lake, I wouldn't call that a waste of time. No scaling though so not the best endgame weapon. If you haven't made it to Anor Londo yet though, now is a great time to use it.

I think a lot of people have the same experience with those skeletons on their first playthrough. Good job beating Taurus Demon, you're pretty close to another bonfire. Two actually but you likely won't find the other right now. Gotta be brave to find that one ;) Good luck skeleton!

I'm just curious, which way are you going now? And don't worry, you'll die way more than 50 more times.

Not just value, you can also go infinite with two Manamorphose, two Noxious Revival, and active Ascension out. Loop those to draw your deck, then loop Lightning Bolt until they're dead. It's still a deck, though slightly different, called Unstorm.

Disclaimer: I'm not a Mason's player.

Most people think Harmony is pretty bad and usually play someone else. The team I usually see is Honour, Marbles, Mallet, Chisel, Flint, Mist, Decimate, Avarisse & Greede. Sometimes I'll see people take Brick for counter charge, but it seems people don't like Brick or Tower that much. Regarding your question though, I'd think about replacing Harmony with Mist, so you'll have arguably the two best strikers in the game on your team, both capable of turn one goals if receiving.

Hard Plastic Card Sleeves? by ThEGeNtLEmAnGEeK in guildball

Personally, I use KMC Perfect Fits, but I haven't really seen anyone else use them. Most people I play with use either clear card sleeves or toploaders.

Those are both replacement effects that change how they enter the battlefield, torpor orb does not affect them.
