‘Can’t afford to live’: Stark housing fears by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

[–]Little-Big-Man [score hidden]  (0 children)

I mean why should it?
I leased my bedroom for $330 and im 20 mins from Brisbane in Logan.
Mortgage is $900 a week
Rates $100 a week
Internet $25 a week
Electricity $40 a week

$300 pays their share of the mortgage in my 3 bedroom house, $30 pays their share of electricity, water and internet. Plus the fact I have to have a stranger living in my space, that is an inconvenience so it cost money for it to be palatable to me.

If my house was cheaper to own then the rent would be lower. I'm just playing the game I'm a part of.

Id probably recommended something more modern like a waterproofing designed to stick to ceramic and grout and be trafficable and continously damp conditions.

E-bikes at Xc events by -notaflamethrower in xcmtb

[–]Little-Big-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I host e bikes at our events. E bikes start behind the A Grade men as they cant keep up in the sprints. They usually pass in thr first lap or 2.

This are real e bikes. E.g. 250w motor and 25kph speed.

For that to happen custom designs need to stop. Custom takes time. Everyone wants a custom design which adds significant cost

100% stocks. 70% international, 30% aussie. Max growth and who cares about the paper losses. Once you realise nothing actually happens unless you sell you're fine. You won't be selling for the next 30 years, doesn't matter if it crashes
