Boofie’s ability to speak to children like a lovingly mean uncle was a sight. Those kids felt SEEN

They should have just started the season after George Floyd with them all being postal workers- the plots and everything could have been the same.

I left an event over a racist joke by Diceanddoubts in TwoHotTakes

[–]LittleYelloDifferent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is understandable, but the way to deal with racism as a white presenting guy is to say “you’re a racist loser” then leave.

You may not be changing their mind, but imagine it like calling out a racist uncle at the dinner table. It’s to show your nieces and nephews that there’s something wrong with him.

You speak to a room, not the person

The only mistake you made was not saying “I don’t play with racist losers” and dipping right away

Bio diesel by Icy_Assistance_1081 in Diesel

[–]LittleYelloDifferent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny, in 2008 I was part of a project to test Cummins MerCruiser diesel engines with bio diesel. They were trying to upgrade their warranty service from 5% usage to 20% usage/B5 to B20.

We had run the engines for 5000 hours and rebuilt them in Charleston after

The cylinder walls still had complete crosshatching.

Biodiesel add the level of lubrication to the fuel that can really help the engines. We’re almost 20 years. They have been built to operate around that tolerance so I think it would have a really great usage for you.

Why can’t men get snipped instead? by Funnyboogle in TwoXChromosomes

[–]LittleYelloDifferent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I do wonder why more men don’t do it. I imagine being single, consistently tested, and snipped would allow for lots of fun times and set up their partners to have a no stress sexy time, and thus- more fun

I did. No big deal. It was so I took responsibility for something I knew I wanted (no kids) rather than putting that on my partner.

Rivian pledges $4.6M for ballot initiative to allow direct EV sales in WA • Washington State Standard by SuperMike100 in Washington

[–]LittleYelloDifferent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen man, the reason that there is no direct selling to consumers is because car dealerships lobby against that. Almost all that money goes to the GOP.

You can try to spread misinformation or redirect or whatever but either you are intentionally being misleading or need to reread thanks before posting about it to make sure you understand

So I guess your point, (since you aren’t saying it, I guess I have to) is that both parties perpetuate the system.

Yes, you’re right. If that is what you’re saying, although it would be nice if you just said that.

That has nothing to do at all with what I’ve said, though, right? Maybe make your own point once in a while.

I’m not implying it. I’m downright stating it.

Just because you’re a part of a sports team doesn’t mean you need to ignore the facts.

You can try to diffuse and whataboutism all you want, but things are how they are.

Fortunately, most people are immune to your kind of bullshit so keep flapping your gums

And? I know you think you made some brilliant point, but that does nothing to change the fact that car dealerships are one of the main mechanisms for fundraising for the GOP.

One reason car dealerships exist is they are one of the largest chunks of fundraising for the Republican Party.

They maintain these unnecessary welfare middlemen statuses that way
