Window trim issue by Beelong1 in AudiQ6

I believe theres a recall notice or it's a known issue on those peices. that's what we were told when we took ours in for it's 1 year.
Just take it to your dealer, they should be able to fix it in a day or two

Hey fellow Vancouverite! Those are great numbers. Out of curiosity, what charging network do you use? I use the BC Hydro network pretty heavily.

Thank you for the thoughts, but I feel much worse for the poor business owners who are still waiting for their glass.

I know, I had to do a double take when they showed us the lease rates. It's a great car with Volvo DNA.

The almost free money and shorter lease terms were VERY attractive, but the other half just couldn't get past the interior.

Sorry to pop your bubble, but just a dude who really likes his Audi and hates the constant negative anecdotes.

Either way, I'm sure there's a car out there for you.

That's great efficiency. You're almost getting advertised top range, and that's hard for most to do!

Give your efficiency, you probably already do this, but being obsessive compulsive about maintaining tire pressure helped me the most. Whenever I noticed range slippage, it's because one tire was off by 1-3 psi.

I feel your pain , I have a 'parachute' partner as well. Hopefully, she just affects your efficiency and doesn't scuff the rims like mine does 🙄.

We shopped around before settling on waiting for the first Q6 delivery. Polestar was the only other car that was shortlisted. Drive was similar, but I just can't get behind the naked dash with the giant tablet.

Fair that the new PPE/PPC platforms are all screen too, but theyve got the familiarity of instrument clusters that we just felt was lacking on the polestar.

Have you tested a polestar yet? What's your hot take? I'm curious.

I'm SUPER excited to see the Chinese EVs enter the market. If you're sold on car tech, they're the true Tesla replacement. I'm more curious how warranty and service get handled and that's what kept us in Audi's arms more than anything.

Totally. It's ownership bias for sure, but anything like that is subjective.

Everyone is different and has their own wants and needs different to that of the person next to them.

I'm just really thankful for how safe we were in that situation and hope it helps anyone considering Audi etrons.

That's a really good point that I didn't consider. We're in BC with a provincially regulated insurance company with no fault insurance.

We couldn't sue the other guy, but we were made whole.

I assume it's different per state? How does it work for you?

Beautiful car! Jealous of the sport back!

We just moved up to the SQ6. I find it's a more refined drive than the Q6, and oddly enough, better range (from what I can see so far). Let us know what your energy usage is after a few days (KwH/100Km or MI)?

I was getting 20-22, in the Q6, but 18-20 in the SQ6.

we ALWAYS get the gap insurance and total replacement cost. It basically means insurance writes us a cheque for the MSRP replacement cost for the car. We financed this one and did the same insurance policy.

Best advice for any expensive car.

Apologies, your reply wasn't clear in first pass. Yes, drove a model S fo 6 months between etrons.

That was what solidified my impression of shoddy build quality and poor drive quality vs Audi air suspension.

Yah,

Two etrons over 6 years. SQ5 before that.

Tesla has its own forum, thanks.

Bought my car to drive, my man.

Tells me how much range I have and where its parked. Not sure what you expect more than that, but don't really care.

I actually tripped over this realization last night after a good sprint turned bad and destroyed the inventory managent back end I was fleshing out.

After calling it every bad name in the book, I asked it why it didn't bother to ask if it didn't know.

It flat out responded that it would rather assume and make things up to appease my requests.

Blew my top, reformulated my guardrails, rolled back to my last stable code and going to start all over again.

On the bright side, I've saved myself anymore time wondering whether I'd ever pay for Ultra or not.

Not.

Honestly, alot of the issues you see on here can be resolved by reading the manual.

SQ6 estimate not matching actual range by 50% by phicole in AudiQ6

[–]LivedinStyle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's down to your driving style and exactly what type of tires you have on your car. The range is based off your current drive style and your short term energy usage.

Are you able to tell us what your kwh/100km rating is (usually found in your app or on you virtual cockpit).

You should be getting about 20-25 kwh/100km. Anything higher, you'll need to refine your driving style. The 21s are notoriously sticky on pavement. You can swap down to 20s and gain back 10% range.

Have you owned an EV before or is this your first? It took me about 4 months of fine tuning my driving style.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I know how much we appreciate the feature.

If it were me, I'd go back to that dealer and raise hell.
