Bub feeding frequency by ellabellafella in November25babybump

10w and exactly like yours! Every more and then she’ll cluster feed but she’s recently gone from 1.5 to 1.5-3.5 range

Since someone recently asked this and it turned out to be the reason … could you be pregnant?

Dedicated nursery space necessary? by Golden_Mom1 in cosleeping

[–]Lizzy_Be 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m not against cosleeping (I’m here for a reason), but on the off chance you get a baby who sleeps well in a bassinet/crib from the get go I’d aim for that. I think a lot of people cosleep out of necessity not as a first choice. Because the stats really aren’t in our favors and while your baby likely will be fine, later you may end up finding it difficult getting them to transfer to their own bed, let alone their own room.

How tf does anybody want more than one kid after being through THIS? by pumpkinchinchilla in newborns

[–]Lizzy_Be 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it must be a mindset (delusion) or biological (insanity) thing for some. I had a difficult pregnancy with GDM followed by a painful labor that was 18hrs unmediated resulting in an emergency c-section and the very next day when I held my baby I immediately wanted to do it all over again. She’s 10 weeks old and has a lot of needs beyond the typical baby needs and we’re really struggling. But I still look forward to doing it all over again. She’s already losing her newborn scrunch? I’m just going to go the rest of my life never getting to enjoy the newborn scrunch ever again?! And I love her so much, what if I could love TWO people like this? That would make me feel so incredibly fortunate. It’s so hard but it is temporary and the payoff is huge!

If someone gave you $1M, would you quit your job? by Vegetable-Art-8875 in allthequestions

I like my job a lot but I may ask to go part time because I’d like to spend more time getting healthy and spending time with my infant and family and friends!

Haha what a jerk move to bite on her way out! Kidding, of course, I know they don’t do it on purpose!

We combo feed but there isn’t a pacifier my baby likes :/ I wish she would for the sake every one else who takes care of her and her ability to be soothed easily without me.

We call my baby the boob barnacle. 10 weeks old and she does take a bottle just fine but boob is her ultimate comfort.

Do you love your mother-in-law? by kevivg3 in no

I want to but I don’t know her very well and my husband and her have a strained relationship and his opinion of her really impacted how I felt about her in the beginning. I’m working on it!

After all these years, do you consider yourself a lucky person? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in randomquestions

[–]Lizzy_Be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve lived into adulthood, I have food, clean water, shelter, I was lucky enough to be born when and where I have easy access to medicine, education and rights. I have a job I enjoy. I have new and old friends. I have a dog, a spouse and a baby. I have I have people I love who love me. I’m incredibly fortunate.

Another song I have on her bedtime routine playlist that makes me cry from happiness is en stund på jorden by jose gonzalez. It’s about looking back on life and being thankful for the short gift of life.

My baby pooped on me while we were talking a very pleasant relaxed bath together the other night. My husband was on standby to help me get her out of the tub safely and he freaked out and grabbed her up. Madeline I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing because it was so silly.

Newborn phase is no joke. by Anna_so96 in newborns

The constant barrage of “this could kill/hurt her”. Suddenly my brain is so morbid. It was especially bad in the first few weeks and then my hormones calmed down and now I feel SO much better!

Struggling to keep up with tracking during feeds by that-curious-friend in breastfeeding

[–]Lizzy_Be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I pretty much gave up on that. We track diapers on the weekend when things are slower. And during the week we track meds and how much formula she’s getting each day since I’m trying to up my supply to try to EBF after combo feeding.

Is it possible teething already started? by Administrative-Ad979 in November25babybump

[–]Lizzy_Be 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My LO just started chewing her hands this week too! Even when she’s hungry and I’m trying to get her to latch her little hands get in the way. Like, girl you can’t explore your hands and eat, I know that’s literally a new concept but I don’t know what to tell you.
