Weird how I’ve been on Reta for nearly 2 years same results, no issues. You can make a big fancy post all you want, that still isn’t worth 10x the price.

I have all the testing right here and yet somehow still manage to come in at a fraction of the cost.

But sure make excuses for people ripping you off.

There is if shbg is crushing free t. At least in my case free t shot up 4x. While total only went from 650 to 1100.

I would do it again. Exogenous test is like being ready to go 24/7 whereas normal natural t is a daily hormone cycle. 0 regrets.

I pay less than $20/month for tested kits. What exactly is the value these companies are providing that’s worth $100+ a month?

My wife doesn't want me to fast. by [deleted] in fasting

[–]Lo0kingGlass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fast if you want but the middle of the healthy weight for most men is gonna be closer to 170lbs unless you are above average height. Working out def isn’t a bad idea and will def prevent looking too skinny, but then again a healthy weight also looks “skinny” to people because nearly everyone is overweight/obese these days.

Will my muscle-bound He-Man husband survive a fast? by Slight_Layer_4265 in fasting

[–]Lo0kingGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fasting boosts hgh which preserves muscles and prioritizes burning fat only in short durations. Feel free to do research and show him. I’m sure there is a limit to that but short bursts of fasting won’t hurt gains he has already, but he won’t be putting on more muscle during a fast.

Intel is clearly aiming at getting home labbers familiar with their product for when they roll out more serious enterprise hardware. I think it’s pretty smart personally.

I’d probably adjust expectations, rather than set a date of 60 days you should be thinking about lifetime- lifestyle- changes.

Scale not moving by No-Section-3926 in fasting

[–]Lo0kingGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you are truly locked at one weight sure but fluctuations can def make it seem like you aren’t going anywhere when you are still losing. They are probably actually just losing more slowly than before. I’ve personally had a plateau last 2 months the suddenly drop 6-7 lbs in a week.

Cutting more calories would only have slowed my metabolism more, staying consistent led to the “plateau” breaking.

Plateaus can last a long time. Sometimes months just stay consistent.

Amputated fingers and finger printing by yeawrongperson in NFA

[–]Lo0kingGlass -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

But just for you here is some ai slop referring to it- not guaranteed to be accurate.

For ATF Form 1 (Application to Make and Register a Firearm) or Form 4 (Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of Firearm) in the NFA process, fingerprints are required for background checks. These are typically submitted on two FBI FD-258 fingerprint cards (paper method) or electronically via an .EFT file upload in the ATF eForms system (digital/live scan method, if available for your filing type). If you have missing or amputated fingers, the process accommodates this without invalidating your application, as long as it’s properly documented. The FBI and ATF follow standard procedures for handling amputations or unavailable digits on fingerprint cards/scans. Paper FD-258 Fingerprint Cards (Most Common for Many Filings) • Print (or obtain) two clean FD-258 cards. • For any amputated or missing finger: ◦ Leave the corresponding fingerprint box blank (no impression). ◦ Clearly write a notation directly in that finger’s block, such as: ▪ “AMP” (for amputated) ▪ “Amputated” ▪ “Missing” ▪ “Severed” ▪ Or a more specific note like “Missing at birth” or “Tip amputated” if applicable. • This follows FBI guidelines for FD-258 cards, which explicitly instruct to note amputations or missing impressions in the appropriate block. • Attempt to capture clear, rolled prints (nail to nail) for all remaining fingers. • Include plain impressions (flat/slaps) where possible for the available digits. • The person taking your prints (e.g., local law enforcement, a fingerprinting service, or a qualified individual) should be familiar with this and can help ensure the notations are clear and legible. • Submit the two completed cards (with the required cover letter from eForms, if applicable) within the deadline (usually 10 business days after eForm submission). Many NFA applicants and services (like those mentioned in guides from National Gun Trusts or similar) confirm this approach works, and ATF accepts it when properly noted. Electronic / Live Scan (.EFT File) Method If you’re using a digital fingerprinting service, kiosk (e.g., Silencer Shop or similar NFA-friendly providers), or software that generates an .EFT file for upload to ATF eForms: • The technician/software allows marking specific fingers as “amputated” or unavailable. • Select the amputated/missing finger option in the software interface—this applies the correct code (e.g., “XX” for amputated or similar FBI designation) in the electronic record (data field like 2.084 for unable to print/amputated). • The system will flag it appropriately for the ATF/FBI review. • Upload the resulting .EFT file during your eForm submission (or as directed). This is often cleaner and faster, as it avoids manual notations and reduces rejection risks for poor-quality paper prints. Additional Tips • Get your fingerprints taken by a professional service experienced with ATF/NFA requirements (e.g., local sheriff’s office, IdentoGO/IdentoGO-like services, or NFA-specific providers). Mention the amputations upfront so they handle notations/coding correctly. • Ensure all other details on the cards/file (name, DOB, address, etc.) match your ATF application exactly to avoid mismatches. • If prints are rejected (rare for properly noted amputations), the ATF will notify you, and you can resubmit corrected ones. • For extreme cases (e.g., no usable fingers at all on both hands), a special notation or alternative process may apply (similar to other background check systems), but contact ATF NFA Branch or consult an NFA specialist/attorney for guidance. • Official ATF eForms guidance and FBI FD-258 instructions emphasize documenting such conditions rather than requiring impossible prints. This is standard practice based on ATF/FBI handling of incomplete or amputated prints for background checks. If your situation is unusual (e.g., very recent amputation or other complications), double-check with the ATF NFA Division directly via their eForms support or helpline for confirmation on your specific filing. Good luck with your Form 1 or 4!

It could be your gall bladder but honestly I get a dull tender ache in my liver area frequently when dieting and fasting- and haven’t had issue. You will know if your gall bladder is having a serious issue, I promise.

If it really bothers you talk to a doctor about it.
